    Also, I'd suggest not buying from eBay unless you can afford to take a big risk with the quality of the product. A lot of products on there are duds.

    This doesn't look like a battery problem, but more a bluetooth pairing problem. Probably a reset of the controller will fix it. It could also be that the bluetooth circuitry has been damaged which would require a new controller anyway.

    Just to rule it out, did you ever abuse the controller in any way?

    As a side note, the battery is an easy switch, with no soldering involved and batteries can be bought individually online. And really, when it comes to batteries they are all made in China anyway. I've opened my controllers for cleaning a couple times and they are very basic inside.

    I once had problem like this bought controller of eBay worked for 4 days then nothing, took it to Sony store they confirmed it fake, so i learned my lesson in to never by controllers of eBay even though i still will get games of it though

    Yeah i've already reseted it of course but at the begining it just didn't do anything and after some resets, it just doesnt even light up when its not connected.. i've probably ruined some circuit while reseting it.. =s well tough luck..
