    Does your library loan games?

When I visit my girlfriend about an hour east we sometimes go to her library to get a blu ray for the night. The selection of books, video games, papers and magazines, computer terminals etc. is "ok", but my library is a 5 starred facility ranked 7th in the nation. It's my favorite feature of my town. Like parents choosing a town based on schools, I could never live anywhere without a great library. It's not the musty stereotype, but a multimillion dollar bohemeth. It has about 50 PS3 games since the program began last year and they are for loan up to 3 weeks at a time. They order new games each month, new blu rays/books/CDs each week. My primary gaming is on PSN but I play most of the recent retail games on loan. I would never buy Dungeon Siege III but I had fun beating it over a weekend. Do you get PS3 games from your library?

We aren't so lucky here in Australia. My local library is the National Library of Australia (the equivalent of the Library of Congress I guess) which is, by and large, a stockpile of all published print-media, music and photography. Not so much as a VHS collection to be seen

All the libraries near my house (and I mean near as in a 1-hour travel) are quite crappy, and they're considered the best ones in the city.
    So nope, I wish.

That is where I got Grand Slam Tennis 2.

They had a whole wall full of PC, PS3, Xbox 360, etc. games to rent for free.

I need to go back soon, because they said they add a couple games a month.

Here in my town in Canada, all the libraries have game for "rental", rental but you don't have to pay for them.

They just integrated a whole network of online requests for every library making everything digital. The only downside is there is always a wait. They have the latest games but the get requested so readily there is usually a 2-3 month waiting period. They also have a great selection of DVDs.

    I prefer the books though

My library is still old-skool, they have like a full wall of PS2 and XBOX games, barely any PS3 games. The only good game I saw when I went to the library was Max Payne 3.

I hate going to that place.

Libraries close to my place actually have a some good games lol.

Sakura Wars So Long My Lost Love for the PS2.
    Sly Cooper series.
    Tatsunoko Vs Capcom
    The Last Story
There's a lot more for PS2 and Wii but I can't really remember.

For PS3 I borrowed Tales of Graces F, Rune Factory Tides of Destiny, Blazblue Continuum Shift, Rayman Origins, Disney Universe, and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One.

Haven't been back to the library for quite some time, so I can't really remember besides the PS3 games since I had my trophy list to refer to lol.

Yes, my local libraries have video games. Not that big of a selection but at least they have them in addition to DVDs and CDs. I can check them out for a week at a time with no limit on how many I want to check out.
