    Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to Come Out on PSN This Week!

    Okay, so I was reading the 'Drop' which is a post on the PSBlog that shows what comes out on PSN a couple of days prior to it getting released.

    Look what I saw at the end:
    Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2 Classic) – The follow-up to Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This time around, developer Rockstar North and publisher Rockstar take players to the state of San Andreas.

    Aw, regurgitating the same game as a classic. I was hoping they'd put out the HD version. They're losing a huge amount of money because people like myself and others here either still own or have owned the original ps2 version and won't buy it just so we don't have to fire up the old system if we want to play it. Also, there is a large niche of gamers who won't touch something without trophies or HD graphics.

    Good for the fans i guess, i got bored of GTA after GTA3.... The games are like copy and pastes... GTA4 online was pretty coo though. With that being said i still own my PS2 version so i won't be adding this to my digital collection.

    Yep,gotta agree with this guy.
    GTA=Copy n paste,same old shit.
    GTA4 was terrible. San Andreas was the best game of the series,closely followed by Vice City.
    I wont be getting San Andreas though,its a classic but I'm leaving it in the past.I've got too many "new" games to play,I dont need to revisit my past.
    Farcry 3,Darksiders 2,Vanquish and Testament of Sherlock Holmes are keeping me busy

    So sad no HDTV support ( my steam gta:sa can do over 1080p ) no trophies is like a stab in the back. I've beatin this game on pc, laptop, ps2 and first Xbox without the two mentioned why even bother.

    San Andreas never had any online MP so I would think that would have been a reason for it not been on the PS2 Classic version .
