What is Your Favorite Movie-Based Game?

What's your favorite game based on a movie?

As far as PS3 games go, mine is The Godfather II. I loved how they tweaked things enough to put your character at the center of the major plot points of the movie, but kept it true enough to the movie. I realize that it's not one of the greatest games ever made or anything, but I became addicted to it. It was pretty repetitive, but I never bored of it.

My favorite of all time is Gremlins 2, on the NES. It was a great game at the time, and I still fire it up on my NES (which has lasted from 1989 to the present, yet my PS3 did not make 2 years).

Back to the future on NES ahahaahah, nah just pulling your leg, actually I like Nightmare on Elm Street on NES Bwahahaahaha!

So many BAD movie based games it's just crazy! I guess I like Spiderman 2 on ps2, that game is awesome. But on PS3 I am yet to play a movie based game... They say X-M O: Wolverine is a good one, but I kinda didn't play it yet.

I haven't really played that many movie based games cause of the fact they usually suck but I did enjoy Scarface the game on PS2

Spiderman 2 on PS2 probably, still the best Spiderman game to date.

Spiderman 2 is the only good movie-based game I've played. All the rest have turned out to be utter sh*t

I would have to say X-men origins. It was a pretty good game. Didn't get too far though.

I reckon green lantern, it follows its own story line yet it is still based of a movie, its one of the few movie based games i can tolerate.

Goldeneye hands down. Best movie to game port ever. Will agree with Star Wars: Rogue Squadron as well. Aced that game.

Also, Aliens Vs. Predator on the PS3 was decent. Jurassic Park and Terminator 2: Judgment Day on the Genesis weren't half bad either.

Not too many good games have come from Movies. E.T for example. Need I say more

Yeah I didn't mind that game either. Hated the bit where you had to protect John Connor driving that 4wd though. Was literally impossible haha.

Other than Golden Eye Doom has yet to play any movie based game that does not infuriate Doom.
Doom runs a country, bitch! A nation of slaves! Dig you a grave! I'll make Umbrella look like Welfare, minimum wage! Doom is getting enraged! I come harder! Killed my ex-girlfriend and turned her into a suit of armor! Beat you to death with your legs, leave you in stitches, Marvel 2 is the shit, RE 5 is for bitches!

I enjoyed both Ghostbusters and X-Men Origins: Wolverine on PS3. Ghostbusters is movie-based in the sense that it's a game that actually takes the place of a third Ghostbusters film, so technically it can still be classed as a movie-based game. For a movie game, Wolverine was actually very enjoyable.

I quite enjoy a lot of movie based games, even though some do suck a bit. One of my favourite games of all time is Goldeneye on the N64, so that would be my favourite movie based game. As for the PS3, I'd say X-Men Origins: Wolverine so far.
