I have been with Playstation since the PS2. Before that it was Nintendo. Had seen a game (I think Ratchet and Clank), that I wanted and hence I moved on to PS. Have been with it ever since.

Dunno, grew up playing Nintendo with my cousins and friends but once I moved and my neighbour had a PS1 I just got hooked on Playstation consoles and probably always will be.

Hmm, because I got a PS1 from my dad back then (first console that was really for me). After that a PS2 and it was only natural for me to buy myself a PS3 after that. Not owning a X-box or other console because I don't have enough interest in the games on it. Before the PS1 we had a SNES and Sega though, which I enjoyed a lot.

I bought a PS2 because I hated the original Xbox, so I got the PS3. I have a 360, though, now.

Well been with Nintendo since the NES but once Sony came out with the PS I've just been with it. Not to mention the controller feels comfortable tho if I was to use the first PS controller, it would feel odd without the analog sticks lol

Because Sega wasn't making games I like anymore. I dreaded the day I bought a Playstation.

Total Awards: 9I bought a PlayStation 1 because of Tekken. Back in 1994, Tekken was a HUUUUUGE coin-op success and 3D gaming was revolutionary at the time. The chance to play it at home was too hard to resist.
PS1 also meant the death knell for the lucrative arcade machine industry. Why pay $1-$2 a game when you could play it at home for nothin'?

Friends and I went to the theater to see the first Tomb Raider movie. I fell in love with TR so when we went to Walmarts afterwards I bought a ps1 and all the TR games they had. Within two weeks I had TR 1-5. Ever since I've been with Sony.

Total Awards: 6Because SEGA made it difficult. The Saturn was pricey so i opted to get a Playstation first, the two then battled it out briefly before Saturn died on it's arse.
The Dreamcast came, promised so much, delivered some great titles and promptly killed SEGA as it was, in the meantime Sony released the Playstation 2 and my new loyalty was sealed with the 1,2,3 of Devil May Cry, Jak and Daxter and Grand Theft Auto III.
When it came to this generation, it was an easy choice and on launch day i purchased my shiny monster PS3 with Motorstorm, Resistance and Fight Night Rd 3, we have been happy together ever since ( well, she died and i replaced her with a slimmer model but they do most of the same tricks ).
Also, my handheld love is Playstation too, had a PSP since launch and that was sent to the great trade in store in the sky a couple of months back after some happy years, PS Vita now lives on it it's place.

Total Awards: 13We've always had a PS1 and it was my uncle who got us a PS2 not long after I started gaming, so I was kind of born into Playstation.

Total Awards: 6I was raised on Nintendo (NES) and my ex-brother-in-law brought a ps1 when it first came out and I loved it. Have been playing Playstation ever since largely because I am a RPG junkie and Playstation has a huge selection of RPGs. I brought the limited edition of halo 4 Xbox but sadly it just sits there collecting dust because I love my PS3 more.

Total Awards: 6Well, my parents just bought me a PS/PS2/PSP without me wanting one. The first console that I got that I actually chose was my PS3. I actually was trying to get an Xbox 360, but when I went to the store, they had run out. So, I went to another store (Best Buy), and they were selling the PS3 for $300 with Killzone 2 and MGS 4 (at the time the 80 GB PS3 was $300, so I was pretty much getting two games for free).

My bro had always been the gamer before I was and when he got a PS1 I decided that I wanted one too and I've been with Playstation ever since. So it's thanks to my bro that I got into gaming.
