StickSkills.com 'Burnout Paradise 2' teased by developer - StickSkills.comAlex Ward, a leading man at Burnout creator Criterion Games, has hinted at the possibility of a second Burnout Paradise through his personal Twitter account. The original open-world racing game, which released on consoles and PC in 2008, was a smashing success, as well as one of the first titles to get extensive post-release support via DLC. Criterion has mostly been working with the Need for Speed franchise since Paradise, but according to a recent post by Ward, that may change soon.

Since he’s still asking questions like this, it’s doubtful that the game is very far in development. If anything, it’s still in an early planning stage.
But, either way, what would you like to see in a new Burnout game? Do you want a sequel to Paradise? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below!

Total Awards: 9As long as it doesn't have Need for Speed in its name, I'm all up for it. The mix between the two weren't all that yet still enjoyable.
Burnout Paradise was really fun, the most fun I've had in a racing game on my PS3 for years when I got it a couple years ago. Hopefully the sequel keeps the arcade/demolition kind of feel and looser handling than NFS: Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted!

Total Awards: 10Two words: about time.
I just hope for bigger world, allow me to play my own music again, more cars, tighter stunt controls with more stunts.
My favorite racing game ever was the first one, and I practically babysat 3 people through that platinum, and would do it again, because it's that damn fun.
Please let this be true, and if they announce this during E3 - I might squeal like a little girl.

I'm all for this, on one condition: That EA never uses the song "Paradise City" ever again. Because of Burnout, they killed one of my favorite songs for me

YES!!!!!!!! If they had to do anything better it would have to be a much larger world, more cars, and a stricter racing route. So many races had a 10-15 second faster route when the shortcut was taken. Really annoying online.

Total Awards: 7This is literally one of my favourite games ever, so this is great news.
EA might make them shift between NFS and Burnout annually.

Total Awards: 9I sure hope not.
Burnout doesn't have games that come out as frequently as NFS, and since both are now being made by the same game developing company atm (Criterion), that would only leave them about a year to make a NFS and a year to make a Burnout game. Maybe once every other year might be better to give them more time to make their games great.
Just my two cents.

I damn hope so. Best car game i've ever played. Hopefully it will come to PS4 and not PS3 and have at least 1080p graphics and 60fps

Loved Paradise, but the thing that bugged me the most was that there was no splitscreen.
The NEED to add it if they release a new Burnout.

Please, no Paradise City. I want a new city. A very large one.
And I want the car customization what Most Wanted 2012 didn't have.

Would be awesome!!!
it would be nice if they added splitscreen
and let me play my own music, or pair up with that music service on the PSN
and Better car crashes!!! (although they were already great)
