Sorry that there isn't more infoWhile fans continue to petition Square Enix for a re-make of Final Fantasy VII, the publisher may be reviving another of its classic franchises. A recent trademark filed by the company suggests that the PlayStation 2 classic Drakengard (known as Drag-On Dragoon in Japan) could be marked for re-release. This news isnít too surprising, considering the influx of PS2 games making their way onto the PlayStation Store.
Released way back in 2003, Drakengard featured a unique blend of ground-based missions (think Dynasty Warriors) and aerial missions (think Panzer Dragoon), as well as an intriguing plot that revolved around five playable characters. Check out the trailer for Drakengard below and see if it drums up any old memories.
