Rankings: Heart wrenching moments in gaming

Note: This does contain spoilers. I have put all videos into spoilers but the list still states the game in which the moment comes from. Read on at your own risk.

I apologize for not having this up sooner. As always, any and all feedback is welcome and don't forget to vote. Hope you enjoy!

OMG I totally forgot!!! When Agro fell, it was the first times I ever came close to crying with a video game. I just love animals and to see your speechless buddy go for the greater good (down that terribly long fall) was tough.

The only other one I've played was PoP and yeah, sure that was sad.... but not really.... great game though.

Most of the list has games from this gen...
There's no Aeris dies moment (though the Crisis Core one is just as unforgettable), no inFAMOUS 2 ending moments, no Professor Layton (believe you me, I shed a tear)...I guess this one's really subjective anyway.

To me one of the most heart wrenching moments are when Ameena dies in Star Ocean 3, the good ending in BioShock 2, when you find out who's the Origami Killer in Heavy Rain, or when you find out what happened to a certain character in Final fantasy X (though most of the FF titles have those moments)

These are opinion threads. Instead of saying they "suck", put up an opinion. Really the only reason I put these up. They are meant to spark a debate. I have gotten the lists from a couple different sites so not sure what you want me to do

I think Alec means the list missed a few marks and left out some titles that come straight to mind for a lot of the community when 'heart wrenching' is mentioned. Though it's subjective to what effect what game had on each person, its safe to say adding some games to the list might be a right direction this time around. That too, an opinion.

That's fine. I was actually thinking about putting up the rankings and then possibly we, as in the site, could come up with our own rankings for each thread. Kind of like doing Member of the Month where we take nominations and then vote on them. Not sure it would get enough feedback though.

I would enjoy having our own site rankings but as you said, I would prefer that we all got together and voted on it. Seems some people look at the lists and start bashing so..... IDK if enough people like these rankings.
