Do I just hook up an ethernet cable between the 2? After that, what do I do? Just want to make sure I don't mess it up. Thanks

    Between the two what?

I assume two playstation 3s. The answer is no. Get an external harddrive, copy what you want onto that, and then connect it to your other console.
