    Favorite childhood game?

I was just wondering what everyone's favorite game was that they played when they were a kid. It can be from any system, at any time.

Ill go ahead and say that my favorite game as a kid was chrono trigger.
I spend so much time replaying that game over and over just because it was a blast.

I have the best childhood memories of SNES games I think. I didn't understand English yet, as I still had to learn that at school, but I remember that I always wanted to help my dad out or just enjoyed to watch him playing games. Zelda link to the past (was just walking around random, using that flute to get to places) and I was really proud when I helped him with Secret of Mana. He was stuck at some point (needed a key) and I got it for him because I talked to all the people in town.
James pond and Rainbow island (Amiga Commodore) are the first I really remember though.

I have a lot of games I loved at that time, but those I'll never forget.

I thought you meant game as in tag or hide and seek not favorite childhood videogame. Anyways my favorite childhood game would be kick the can and my favorite childhood videogame is from more then a handful of Atari 2600 games. So if I had to narrow it down I would have to pick defender for the 2600.

Too many SNES games... but before them all, the game that broke my RPG virginity was Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals. Everything about that game is 10/10 from story line to characters to gameplay...
Then all the others came along, Zelda: Link to the Past, Breath of Fire 2, Chrono Trigger, Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2) even though not my first, it is tied for my personal best place along with Lufia 2.
Then it was Zelda: The Ocarina of Time... until I discovered FFVII
