    Turbo controller recommendations

I'm looking to invest in a regular turbo controller for ps3, not a fighting joystick or anything. Preferably one that won't break my pockets. Any suggestions? Just give me a model number or a brand, and I'll see if eBay has it reasonably. Thanks.

Thanks to Thunder for the platbar!!!

Back in PS1 days I used Hori turbo controllers. They were good, had nice buttons and sturdy. You can try searching Hori Pad 3 Turbo or Hori Pad 3 Pro (wired I believe) on ebay and/or amazon etc. I haven't tried them personally, and I'm not sure what else is available in terms of turbo controllers, but Hori was always my first choice.

I actually bid something like 15$ on a Hori last week. The bugger ended at 31$, and now all the by it now options are close to 50$. I can't afford that right now. But it's cool because I don't need it right now.

Thanks to Thunder for the platbar!!!

I would also suggest Hori but would like to add is I would personally stay away from any controller that lights up they become quite annoying after a few hours of use

    XCM Cross Battle Adapter Plus

I use this with a 360 wired controller, it does not work with a PS3 controller. IMHO a USB adaptor is preferable to a cheap, shitty third-party controller.

Use this as a starting point for your search. Good luck on your quest

I've seen that. So in order to use that I need an Xbox controller?

That particular one, yes, it's a 360 to PS3 adaptor that doubles as a turbo device. There's sure to be others, that just the one I happen to use.
