I've gotten annoyed at games before, but never to the point where I've thrown a controller. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

My friend threw his controller in anger and instead of hitting the floor or the wall it went straight for his 55" SONY Bravia and it luckily just bounced off and there was only a slight ding .... mmmm ding why's that sound so familiar ..... must get back to trophy whoring/hunting/collecting ..... all the above

Didn't rage yet, even on Max Payne 3 MP, but when i get annoyed I tend to squeeze the controller a little harder than usual, didn't break one yet.

there really is no place to get cheap Dualshock 3's, sadly.

i'm currently back up to 4 of them though, after buying another gold one and getting a spare black one off my brother in law

Personally, I go through a controller every few months (I think this is #4 in the last 16 months). There's also more than a few Rock Band instruments to bite the dust. It's quite an expensive habit although, I can't remember the last time I broke anything. I think it was during the Arkham Asylum combat challenges but, something tells me that there was one more recently.

On a separate note; maybe learn to use the edit button? Double postin' like mad up in here.

CECHZC2E - this is the correct model number on the real sony controllers right?
    I've hade a
CECHZC2H for quite some time now and the analog sticks are awful.
Picking up my new controller tomorow, gonna check that it is
CECHZC2E. So pleas correct me if I am mistaken

I feel for ya, losing a good controller is like losing a limb. Hope your new controller brings you joy and many more plats.
At least yours hit the wall.

I hear you on that one, I have 6 controllers right now and at least 3 of them drift like that it's so annoying.

I've never roughed up any of my current one's but back in the day they were just asking for it, I mean they had that cord just hanging there waiting to be swung around and into a wall.
Sorry to hear about your controller Walle.

buy one of those cheap fake controllers on ebay, they work just like the original... you can even take the broken parts out of the original shell and pop the new fake controller parts in the original shell! you wouldn't even know the difference then
