Anyone notice you can deactivate accounts remotely now?

So, after the maintenance, it looks like we can deactivate accounts remotely through the qriocity website. I just tried it and bam, everything is deactivated from all systems (PS3/PSP). Though, there is a 6 months limit for every reset but that's alright. I'm entirely glad that this method was finally implemented seeing as how I lost one of my activations somewhere along the years, lol.

If you want to know how to deactivate:

Go to: qriocity.com OR Sony Entertainment (if the first one doesn't work for you) (Thanks to wcamicase for the heads up)
Log in on your PSN ID
Under Accounts -> Media and Devices -> Game Category gives you the option to "Deactivate All"
(Only 1 reset per 6 months)

Oh and don't forget to activate your own PS3 afterwards, lol

    =========================

Here are some things to clear up for future reference/questions (from what I've gathered):

    1. Qriocity does ONLY full resets (no individual resets). And It can only happen once every 6 months
    2. After a Full Reset, you have gained back your activations at a cost of reducing it to 2 Activations at a time starting Nov. 18, 2011
    3. Sony has mentioned that ANY GAMES DOWNLOADED ON PSN BEFORE NOV. 18, 2011 can be played on the accounts that were activated before the maintenance. Meaning that any game content shared through five accounts will STILL work even if the account was "DEACTIVATED" during the full reset (Confirmed by me). If the content was downloaded on NOV. 18 and onwards, it can only be activated on two accounts
    4. As far as I can tell, there has been a problem with deactivating accounts. One would be a dreaded error (forgot what the error code was) regarding about not being able to activate the system even though you haven't reached or limit or tried multiple times to activate your PS3 after the deactivations. A solution would be to change your e-mail address and THEN try to activate it.

Yep, that was the point of the maintenance, although it comes at the cost of only allowing each Downloadable game or DLC to be activated on 2 systems at a time.

Yes, it can all deactivate at the same time. You can just access it through qriocity.com and log in on your PSN ID and deactivate from there.

Nice. My old one died before I had a chance to deactivate it. I will be trying this out. Thanks for the info.

No problem. Also, you can also name your system on that site. Just edit the name when you activate a PS3 so you'd know which PS3 is already done activated

ok so i get this message

You can only deactivate your PlayStation®3 system from PlayStation®Network using your PS3™ system. You cannot deactivate it using a PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system or PC.

On the XMB™ menu, go to PlayStation®Network and sign in to your PlayStation®Network account.
Go to Account Management > System Activation > PS3™ System.
Select the type of content you no longer want your PS3™ system to use.
Highlight [Deactivate System] and press the X button. Your system is now deactivated.
Highlight [OK] and press the X button.

You're doing it wrong. Follow the instructions on my first post. Don't click "Playstation Systems" when you log in. It will be under "Account" at the top
