Where in the world was the hardest place to play onine?

Well I just got back from afghansitan about 3 months ago which was crazy as hell and MANAGED to hook up my PS3 in Kandahar but was VERY expensive to get a great signal ( 245 mb). Only problem cost me like $90 per month in web service.

What about you? Where in the world was the hardest place you try to get online?

I have never been in a place that didn't have broadband internet.

I'd assume that would be the hurdle. My friends over in West Virginia don't have any broadband internet access outside of potentially hughes net...not worth it at that point.

Me personally, it the attic at my mums house

A really good friend of mine is currently in Afghanistan and he says that you aren't allowed to connect to the internet over there as it could give away your position.

lol, well if he/she happens to carry 1. PS3 2. Portable Screen & 3. powerful portable dish in the middle of a Recon mission then yea that would be a bad idea ;-). But not if your in a base that holds 20,000 NATO and US Forces and getting rocketed like every night.

Slight exaggeration there, Kerwan. Not that great compared to other developed countries, but far from the worst in the world.

Any 4-Star hotels. Was on a trip with 6 family members going to a family reunion across the country, and we both drove passenger vans to the destination AKA campground to meet up. Well, I had my PS3 packed up with a couple of my games, and I heard they had free wireless internet to all rooms in the hotel. "Sweet!" is what I THOUGHT. I hooked it up on the television to play some MW2 with a buddy from school on mics. Well, I connected and it was 4% CONNECTION. FML. I couldnt even get on Facebook!
I still play Black Ops because me and brother have 2 PS3's and share a copy of Modern Warfare 3. So that is why I play it sometimes. Thats the *ONLY* time I play Black Ops! When brother is not playing MW3, I am!

One time I took my PS3 to Dominican Republic and oh boy, isn't there power outages horrendous. Over there there's power outages every like 2 hours and internet connections is horrible depending on where you are. There's rarely any wi-fi either because barely anybody has internet over there.
