was about to post about this to. 64Gb card is basically the same price the 32 was before.
The 1Gb of space on the vita itself to save games without a memory card is a nice touch also. I could see people who buy physical copies only not even really needing to get a memory card for ages or at all.

    PlayStation Vita re-design announced
Available in six colours, and with an inbuilt 1GB memory, the PS Vita 2000 is 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the original Vita model. The OLED screen has been replaced by a 5" LCD screen, a micro-usb port has been added, and the battery life has been improved by 1 hour.

There is no word as of yet as to if and when this model will be released in the West.

A 64GB card has also been announced for the Japanese market.

    Upcoming Vita Games
A number of games were announced and confirmed, though many of them will probably not be released outside of Japan. Of particular interest to western gamers is the confirmation of Terraria and Soul Sacrifice Delta, while Soul Sacrifice 2 was also confirmed to be in development.

    PlayStation 4 Japanese Release Date
Coming as somewhat of a surprise, the PlayStation 4 will be releasing in Japan on February 22nd, 2014 - well over three months behind the North American, European and Australian launch dates. Addressing the lengthy delay, Sony cited "the availability of content," stating that they wanted to guarantee that the large number of Western release titles will be ready for a Japanese launch.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Those holding out for the PlayStation 4 release of Sony's latest MMO, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, need not wait any longer. Sony has announced that players of the game on the PlayStation 3 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 version free of charge.

    Deep Down
Back in February, during the PlayStation 4 announcement conference, Capcom announced it's latest IP, Deep Down. Since its announcement, however, there has been almost no word about. Today, Capcom has provide more information.

Deep Down is a third-person action game, similar to Dragon's Dogma or the Souls games, with online co-operative play. You fight great and terrifying monsters like Dragons in randomly-generated maps using a mixture of melee weapons and magic.

But that's not all... The game is somewhat like Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed franchise, with parts of the game taking place in the year 2094, in New York City.

Confused? You're not alone. Thankfully, more information will be made available at TGS.

    PlayStation Vita TV
Finishing the presentation in style, Sony have announced the PlayStation Vita TV, a small device (6cm x 10cm) which runs on the PlayStation Vita architecture, and will allow you to access media on your TV, including that which is available on the PSN store.

The device, which includes a slot for Vita cartridges and memory cards, will also allow you to play Vita, PSP, and PS1 games on your television, using either a Dual-shock 3 or Dual-shock 4 controller. You can also play your PlayStation 4 in another room via the PS Vita TV which streams directly from the main console.

The PlayStation Vita TV will launch first in Japan on November 14, 2013, for $95 USD, or bundled with a Dual-Shock 3 controller and an 8gb memory card for $150 USD.

No Western release date or price has been announced yet, though president of Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House, confirmed that the PlayStation Vita TV will see a global launch.

They said there was no Japanese focused games available around launch that's why they delayed it to 2014 for more to be ready, since most of the releases were western focused

Pay $99 to play vita games on a big screen for as long as you want or pay $200 to play it on a small screen with a 3 hour battery

    your choice
Pay $99 to play games designed to be played in small doses while on the move, or pay an extra $100 and be able to play them whenever you want, whenever you want, the way they were meant to be played, at the resolution they were meant to be seen in.

It's all a matter of perspective.

But why am I telling you this? You already know. You're just trying to be argumentative.

Why ditch the OLED for LCD on the new Vita? I understand money is a factor, but come on... the OLED is absolutely beautiful. I highly doubt the new Vita will cost over $200. $150 at best.
