    PS4 Cross-Game Chat Confirmed to Support 8 Players

    A recent comment by Sid Shuman, the manager of Social Media at Sony Computer Entertainment, on the very popular PlayStation Blog, confirms that the PlayStation 4 (PS4) will support up to 8 participants in a cross-game party chat.

    dont care about this. i dont want to chat with someone im not playing the game with. who knows, might use this feature when im drunk.

    PSN better have pretty much every Xbox Live feature now that you have to pay for PS+ to play online.

    Is it possible to have more than 8? I never understood how cross-chat works on consoles. We got teamspeak and such on PC.

    I use skype mostly to talk to friends while gaming.

    Not sure if it will change, we shall see how good the cross chat works.
