Headsets that are currently working with PS4

I know some headsets if not all headsets are not working with the PS4 until the patches are released but maybe some of you do have a pair that are currently working with the console and if you do maybe you would like to share for those who would rather not wait for the patch to be released....So that's what this thread is for and it would be awesome if people help each other out as I'm hard of hearing and that single ear bud does no justice for me and I am waiting to try my tritons although I read the post that they do need a patch.

I tried my turtle beach headset for my xbox and it didn't work. The cord that goes into the 360 controller is too small for the dualshock 4.

Does anyone have the wireless stereo headset from Sony?
I have this headset and I think Sony said that it won't work until it got patched.

    Anyone tried that?

My Astro A50 headset works perfectly for audio, I haven't tested chat out yet. I'll be testing my A40's too.

I have it and I tried it. My PS4 recognized it, but it said it wasn't supported. Hopefully Sony rolls out that patch soon.

Thank you for the quick answer.
I will get a cheap headset with in and output. But which headset does only need one cable for both?

I have seen an adapter from big ben for 10€ on amazon.de that let you plug in any headset with two cables.

Maybe I will get that and a 10€ cheap headset that I will throw away after Sony patched it.

The Sony Pulse headset does not work yet.

My stop gap measure is to use a pair of earbuds with an in-line mic. They work very well with the DS4. iPhone earbuds will work. I'm using $15 Skullcandy buds.

Thanks for the confirmation Parker. That's one less thing to worry about.

Headphones? Pfft, I currently have a 5.1 setup with a couple of speakers unused so technically I could have 7.1 if I wanted to.

I'll probably use the supplied earphones when I'm recording stuff (for random "commentary"), otherwise it's just me and...sound

I plugged my pulse elite into the controller. Better off using the earbuds that came with the ps4. The connection through the controller is mono. Sound only comes through the left side.
