The game's so damn pretty the gameplay could be a blatant piece of shite and I'd still keep playing it. Will definitely buy it when possible.

lol. the dialogue was terrible.

I was looking forward to this ever since the reveal, and as an added bonus it was confirmed that the game has a platinum trophy.

Saying games from Supergiant Games has terrible dialogue is like saying FF13 has great writing.
it makes no sense.
I recommend everyone play bastion if you have the chance. Same Dev that made this.
it's worth every bit of your time and shows how a good story-driven game should work. Not this recent Scripted Sequence Setpiece Stuff most modern games fall into.

There are plenty of good games to play, I can wait awhile to buy this. Might pick it up later this year depending what is getting released.

Total Awards: 8I am on the fence. It looks good graphically though the art style is off putting to me. The gameplay... I am not sure on that. The writing seems terrible, so much cheese that I feel like I am fighting Eddie from Tekken. The characters at the moment, I know nothing about them so I can not comment on them.
I doubt I will get this unless it becomes a PS+ free game. Plus I have never played Bastion.

Total Awards: 11Looks beautiful, sounds beautiful too.. if you totally ignore the line delivery and concentrate on the music.
On the 'try later' pile ya go.

Bastion is one of the greatest games ever. The Launch Trailer for Bastion had the same tier of writing in their launch trailer too but in-game the writing was really well done. Everyones favorite part of bastion is always the narrator, which is really hard to do unless you have amazing writing.
I replayed through it again a few days ago to get prepared for transistor, it's just as good as i remember it.
I doubt transistor is any different in the amazing game section because everyone that worked on bastion is working on this.

Yeah if you're a fan of bastion you've got to check this one out.
Personally nothing I've seen so far about Transistor appeals to me. It's plain to see they've put a lot of effort into it but the visuals aren't my thing, the trailer did nothing to hook me into the story and the gameplay could be hit or miss.
If there's a demo I may check it out.
