    Gotta be fake

I'm sure the city is much larger than that judging by the trailers especially the gameplay trailer where it pans out

You serious? It looks plenty big to me. Besides, just because the "city" part looks small, doesn't mean there isn't a lot of "content" out in the more rural areas.

I'd say it's more a case of the map being huge than the city being small. Hard to put it into perspective til you're stood at street level.
Just because an area isn't grey, doesn't mean it's not part of the city either. Worry not.

Also, in terms of depth, it''ll be even bigger.

I think its legit considering the icons on the map and stuff. Besides it comes out a week from today.

GTA San Andreas not only had 3 cities, but it had a huge variety of rural areas. Nearly 3/4 of the map is rural area, while less than 1/4 is Los Santos city.

    Here's a comparison.

The city area does look small, but the map is said to be bigger than GTA4, RDR and San Andreas combined.

You're joking right? Compare all the maps to GTA5 and you'll know you're wrong.

Heres my interpretation of the icons.

That small section you just shown from in game says it all, looks tiny on the map but in game there is loads there.

On the subject of map size, it will be much bigger but you need to remember that it's vertical depth as well as horizontal.

See, thing is as of right now I'm not wrong. Rockstar themselves said it would be bigger than GTA4, RDR and San Andreas.

Side Note: I'm very interested to see what is back from San Andreas .... I'm looking forward to revisiting Grove Street.

When you look a little closerat the grey city area you will see that only the main roads are the white ones on the map wich you can see easily, but in between the grey city blocks there are small roads and alley's. Also you can see thet there are several highways crossing through the city so i think its pretty big.

I don't really think a picture like this can really portray how big the map really is, we have nothing to compare it to inside the game, and the images that do compare the map to in-game images make it look huge so...yeah.
