I was thinking that the whole time. We've been to both New York and LA. Chicago would be a awesome spot to set it. Anyone up for skydiving off the sears tower lol

2 Star Wanted Level = Police
    3 Star Wanted Level = Police w/Batons
4 Star Wanted Level = Finally call in people with weapons :|
5 Star Wanted Level = Special Armed Unit

I can see the failure already...

I know what you meant but they can easily change it and give the plastics guns

I agree with this guy. From an atmosphere/culture point of view London would be so so boring. Plus it would be horrible to drive in if the modeled it realistically, The Getaway springs to mind. They should either keep it in the US, or go somewhere like Tokyo or South America, there's so much more potential in those places.

Not entirely, but a more accurate take on it than GTA III's Liberty City.

I still play Black Ops because me and brother have 2 PS3's and share a copy of Modern Warfare 3. So that is why I play it sometimes. Thats the *ONLY* time I play Black Ops! When brother is not playing MW3, I am!

so why can't GT5 do the same for london

if it's not a exact replica of london rockstar could just simply throw in batshit insane british cops. I mean the british do have stuff similar to swat teams obviously, they even have riot police. Hell for all i care they can throw the fucking SAS in there too for laughs.

Interesting info, I'll be looking forward to learning more on Nov 2nd. Until then I'll keep a optimistic but not overly optimistic view on Grand Theft Auto 5.

don't tell me those are terrible ideas.
GTA Japan I can see. A lot of racing and beating up yakuzas would be cool.
GTA South Korea is even better. If you go to far before completing a certain number of missions, you get straight up gangster mobbed by the North.
    GTA Brazil...would be awesome.

I don't see why people are bringing up congestion when it comes to London and yet have no complaints about it being in any other majorly populated city?

I agree about the speed cameras though but if they're going for realism it would make it a bit more interesting. I doubt it'll be set in London anyway but still

They can do that if they wish, it doesn't change the fact that London is a boring setting.

I would love a GTA game to take place in Canada, but we all know that ain't going to happen.
Also how about R* makes Bully 2?
