    Really sucked in

Wow..just WOW..I started playing this today..not far in..wasn't sure what to expect of it. This game drew me in emotionally. Anyone else get sucked in emotionally and almost can't put this game down? I admit..I shed a tear during the beginning. Never thought a game could do that to me.

This is one of those games that is really hit or miss with a lot of people. Some people absolutely adore the game, and love the cinematic feel, the top notch writing, acting and story telling. Other people think that they should leave the "cinematic" experiences to the movies.

It was my pick for GOTY last year, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. It reminded me of the "Choose Your Own Adventure" series of books as a kid, except if those were written by an award caliber screen writer. It does suffer from a bit of a let down on subsequent playthroughs, because the shock factor of knowing the climax is taken away.

It's a truly special game, none-the-less, and I hope you enjoy it and all of it's unique stories.

Haha, yeah I pretty much was stuck to it like glue when I first played, didn't have a single clue what I was getting myself into but I'm pretty happy I took a chance with it when I did after being abit iffy about it.

Just remember everything you do will effect the ending of the game, especially the very first time you complete it.

WeApOns..you are missing out! But get it when you can afford it. I haven't even looked at the Trophy guide yet for it. I bought it based on the fact that its a crime game..and I admit..CSI ..SUCKED..I couldn't get 100% Thoroughness on first case haha. However I do like interacting..and a good story line. When I heard that what you do affects the game..I knew I had to have it!

The first playthrough was amazing but when going for the platinum, the muliple chapter replays wrecks it tbh You'll be bored silly when going for all endings.

Personally I loved the game. Playing the chapters multiple times for the all endings and perfect crime trophies didn't bother me. I guess because more or less there isn't any other game like it. And I wanted to see how they could make 20+ endings, seem interesting. Although Tears in the rain, was probably the saddest one of them all. Quite depressing actually, but that is what made it the best one imo.

I also didnt mind playing it over for the perfect crime trophy. I liked seeing how it changed when you did things differently. Very cool game...

Heh. I'm a bit surprised that anyone did not yet know this about Heavy Rain. But yeah, it's a great game that really gets a hold on you. But a lot of my friends won't even try it. That really bums me out, because this is a game that every PS3-owner should play.

I never cried while playing this but there were several moments where I felt the emotion happening on screen.
