The Official Platinum Difficulty Discussion Thread

This thread is first and foremost a discussion thread, but it also has a poll. Please do not vote in the poll until you have earned the platinum trophy for this game. That being said, we invite you to post below and discuss the difficult aspects of the game, even if you do not yet have the platinum trophy in your collection.

When you post, give more than just a number. Give reasons why you feel the game is easy or hard. What parts of the game are easy or hard? Were there collectibles? Were they a pain? Is there a required online component? How easy or hard is the online portion? What is the most frustrating part about the game?

Once you have obtained the platinum trophy, feel free to return to this thread and post your official vote. Say something to the effect of "I give this a 2 because there was only one tough spot and the collectibles were easy to find". At this point, you may also add your vote to the poll.

The poll is public, meaning everyone can see how you vote.

2 - Easy. Not quite a cakewalk, but close. A few trophies require grinding (like leveling up four different dragons and collecting X number of such 'n' such) and one or two fights are a little challenging. Nothing "hard" though.

2. Easy There's a few trophies that require grinding and 2 playthroughs are required and by the time you finish the first playthrough you really don't want to play the game a second time.

Voted 2/5 - for the most part the game is extremely simple, but it becomes tedious quite quickly.

3 - Moderate

I was expecting this to be much easier than it was to be honest. First of all it took longer than a few other games i've played that were 10x better The graphics were decent for the style of game and my kids absolutely loved it, especially when I let them run around and collect stuff or talk to the NPCs. The funny thing is, they too got bored quickly lol. The challenges and tournaments were too difficult for them and the rest was just boring after a few minutes. Highly disappointed overall. I absolutely loved the movie and feel this could have been a better game as more of a story like the movie rather than hours of training and challenges for a few tournaments.

Collectibles
The collectibles were very simple but, unbelievably boring. The Free Roam portion of the game was small but, the animations for picking up items was painfully slow making this boring task even worse.

Difficulty
The training was simple which led to severe boredom; the Challenges were super tough for me at first... after several attempts on the Ring Race, I finally got it lol. Once I understood the object of the challenges and had a few tries on each one they were much easier through. The 1 vs 1 arcade style fighting was not difficult to win but, some of the trophy requirements made it really tough as you had to make a single dragon last through 4 of your opponents dragons. Overall, the difficulty was not high but, this game was no walk in the park either.

Summary
This was an Easy in terms of difficulty alone with a bunch of other crap that made the overall experience a Moderate for me.

Easy, but not as easy as some people make it out to be. Levelling up 4 dragons to 25 is a giant grind, then we have the various Arcade mode trophies, which are quite challenging for a kids' game.

Just not easy.Challenges (Some) ARE hard like the dragon puzzle
Training is just really really long and repetitive...i had done 213 wins by the time i finished training
Also,arcade is long and repetitive.Some trophies that require perfect wins or no KO on a dragon can only be beaten with the cheap combo way (Triangle,Triangle,triangle) with the Night Fury
Overall, not a piece of cake
