I bought and played LBP1 and never really bothered to make any levels. Now that I've been playing LBP2, I've taken some time to make my first level. I'll be the first to admit it's short and pretty basic. My question is, how do you get your levels noticed and played?
It's been up for a day now and still no plays other then my own. I thought I'd at least have a couple by now.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I'm aware of P4P, that's not what I was getting at when I asked the question about getting levels noticed.
More to the point of in-game, how do you promote your levels and get them noticed and played.

I'm having the same issue, it's a matter of playing others stuff and asking for a play back. using forums and linking your level everywhere lol.
I have to be honest though it never hurts to have something suuuper saturated in your level.
throw in something that's always searched for in the community level tab.
only as an example, if you put something like "twilight" in your title, you'd get people coming just to check it out, except don't use twilight because twilight sucks lol

Yeah its one of those things where your level will always take a while to get noticed. Like the others suggested you need to promote it, e.g. the play for play thread and the lbp website, and also by playing other peoples levels and leaving them messages (on their wall/pod-thing). The more times your level appears on other peoples history the greater the chance you've got of getting plays from the friends they have.
Ultimately its a bit like youtube in the sense that once a level gets lots of hits, it starts appearing everywhere so even more people play it.

I was afraid of all that. Guess I'll just have to design a cool level and hope for the best.
Thanks all.
