Weapons doubt

I just started to play, and I just want to know if the weapons are allways the same, and you can't pick up new ones o.o
It's because sometimes I feel that I need a better or a different weapon, not just the same ones allways (I'm enginner and I only have used the normal pistol, the authomatic pistol and a grenade launcher o.o)

You'll get different and better weapons as you progress through the game. The weapons in each class are fairly similar except for the heavy weapon class. Those are all different and fun to use. Remember to check around every corner and through every door to get upgrades(and sometimes a gun )
