Total Awards: 8Jack wasn't loyal to me and I got the trophy. It has something to do with not putting Jack in a specific role during the last mission. It says in the Mass Effect 2 guide if you wanna go take a look at it.

If Jack's not loyal, don't assign any leading role to her in the last mission. Plus, send the weakest characters on escort roles like Mordin or Tali (not sure about Tali) and you should be fine

Jack wasn't loyal to me either and I got the trophy on my first try, without any guide help.

If you want her to still be loyal, get your Paragon bar to the max. That should be enough to pass the Paragon check and have both Jack and Miranda loyal without the need of siding with one or the other.

Choose the option that allows you to get on the good sides of Miranda and Jack, solves everything.

Total Awards: 21This and also, when you go into the final battle, leave your strongest fighters like Grunt and Garrus to hold the line with Jack....the stronger characters will help protect her since she isnt loyal and she will survive...I took Miranda and Kasumi and left the rest...and don't take Jack to the final battle..
Don't feel bad, I bet 95% of the players had the same problem as who would side with Jack over Miranda's perfectly engineered ass

when they have there arguement in your second playthrough, do not take eithers side in the arguement. stay neutral. i had the same problem in that arguement and took jack's side and lost miranda's loyalty and she died at the end of the final mission.

Total Awards: 6The Paragon/Renegade conversation choices for that encounter keep them both loyal by having you not take sides. So long as you lean heavily in one direction or the other (and there are passive skills that help with the accumulation of points), you should be able to pick one of them and solve all your problems that way. It isn't an easy benchmark to hit, but it isn't that hard if you're consistent in sticking to one side or the other throughout the game.

I had the issue, where my Paragon wasn't high enough to prevent me from taking site, so I took Jack.
I then had to talk to Miranda to gain her loyalty again (Not High enough Paragon)
I then found out, I could respec into something (can't recall name) who improve my Paragon and then I could talk to Miranda and gain her loyality

I believe you need your squadmates loyalty to survive the last battle with you. Also if you're going for the No One Left Behind Trophy, make sure to take the ones with the weakest defense with you at the end. I personally took Mordin and Tali with me. When I went for this on the 360 version, I think Miranda and Garrus with me. Mordin didn't make it.
On my Insanity run, I think didn't get anyone's loyalty and somehow Zaeed and Samara made it. I wanted the Shepard dies ending but my dumbass fully upgraded the ships. Now I can't wait to use this save file for ME3.

Total Awards: 8I did it! Yeah! When i got to this arguement with @ 85% Paragon and 25% Renegade. There was no selectable option to not take sides, so I chose to side with Jack. I did this because people said I could make up with Miranda with 100% paragon. So I kept finding ways to get paragon, finally I was at 98-100% paragon & 37% (really hard to tell) right before I went into the final battle, and I tried to make up with Miranda, no such luck. I was so pissed, luckily I had my game saved just before the fight but I decided to proceed anyway. I was just very careful for the final mission. I ALWAYS chose Garris to be a leader on the other team, Mordin was the escort, Jack was my biotic and Legion and Grunt came with me. I chose Miranda for absolutely nothing! Everyone survived! I was so relieved! Now to do a second playthrough and a couple "kill this many" trophies for my Plat!
I also had no problems staying neutral in the Tali/Legion fight, I was 98-100% Paragon and 37% Renegade.Last edited by BlurredImages; 02-08-2012 at 06:37 AM.
