best way to get vc?

besides actually buying vc with real money in the psn store what's the best way to earn vc? i want to bump up my mycareer player's stats and i'm just not getting enough vc to do anything with. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

This will take some time!

This is what I do:
I get on and play an offline 1-on-1 blacktop game. Since the 76ers are the team right away, choose to be Jason Richardson (he can knock down 3s = fast win) and choose anyone else on the Sixers to face (it can be from another team, but just to make this faster, choose someone from the Sixers). Play and try to win. 150 points for playing and 10 more if you win. Now, for some reason you won't always get points if you play this mode over and over. What I've noticed is you need to wait a certain amount of minutes. That is why right after I do this, I do:

Offline quick match. Simply choose a good team, and your opponent a bad team. When you are about to start the game, go to game settings, and then gameplay, then put the game speed to 100. You don't have to do this if you don't mind the game lasting long. After this, go to coach settings, and turn on coach mode (also put 'timeout' to manual to make the game last even less). Now you don't have to play, and can go do something while this plays. You will garner 600 VC if you put it to 48 minutes (which is what I do) and 10 more if you win. After this, go back to step number one (offline blacktop), and then this, et cetera.

I find MyPlayer Blacktop (the online blacktop mode) very fun and addicting (of course when I'm not teamed up with ball-hoggers), and a good way to earn VC while still having fun and not feeling like a grind. Sometimes the games will last long, but if you can get three games in an hour, that will be at least 450 VC in that hour (150 VC for playing and 10 more if you win).

Also you can acquire VC by picking the winner of certain NBA games. You will receive 20 VC coins for each current pick.

That's true, but that thing doesn't always work. Sometimes it won't give you all the VC you deserve, or even give you none. I've seen photos of people getting all their picks correct, but 0 VC.
