Total Awards: 14This reminded me of that depressing Pixar short
.
I wasn't really alive in those SNES days, but it does also seem a bit primitive to me so... yeah.

Maybe you just had to be there, but I think anyone who was can attest to the fact that the first time you saw Kraid grow to 3 screens high your mouth dropped. Or the first time you saw Vector coming out of the horizon in FF6 you got goosebumps.
I remember the first time I popped in Madden and all of a sudden I heard "EA Sports. It's in the game" in a crisp and clear voice I was floored. Me and my brother actually kept hitting the reset button over and over to hear it again and again.
I don't get that kind of excitement from gaming nowadays

Total Awards: 16I agree 100%. Killer Instinct was one of my favorite SNES games and still is my favorite fighting game of all time. The soundtrack like you mentioned was incredible and I wish they still continued making games.
I know but sadly it'll never happen...

I actually wanted to make that a Trivia Question but I didn't think anyone had played it before.
