Go to General Info> Can I Log Into My Nintendo Network Account on a Different Console?
Dunno if this is news, but bummer. Can I Log Into My Nintendo Network Account on a Different Console?
Answer:
- No, you cannot. A Nintendo Network Account can only be used on the console where it was created. In the future, you will be able to use your Nintendo Network Account with future Nintendo consoles and other devices, such as PC's.
- Currently, the Wii U supports up to 12 individual Nintendo Network ID's per console, which enables each member of the family to have his or her own unique identity on the system.

whats a repair center and warranty
This is Nintendo's first jump into Online gaming world, they will probably update it with a feature to move accounts in the future. I honestly don't see a problem here unless for some reason you use multiple wii u's (if so, how did you manage to acquire multiple wii u's and why the hell are you using so many of them.)

Wasn't there online id's for the 3DS and Wii? You can't transfer your account over with your info and friends list?

you would be out of luck, all the money you spent on digital content would be lost.If you happen to have more than one cosole in your house i guess they expect you to buy the same game multiple times, and if you are going to a friends house to spend the weekend better take your console if you are going to play games you have purchased digitaly, what a dick move by nintendo.

3DS and Wii U Profile Connectivity isn't there yet, the most you can do is trade your 3DS/Wii Mii to use for the Wii U Mii but thats it.
Nintendo says they are going to push out a update later to allow nintendo network to be everywhere. I guess thats when they will be able to bring out the re-downloadablity and everything.
The Vita Locks your expensive memory card to a user, not your whole entire console.
it's different. The Vita only allows one profile while Wii U can allow 12.

Stupid logic from a stupid person.
This isn't there first time online, they tried with the wii and failed because of stupid friend codes.
I also like how you bash the Vita's memory cards but for 16$ I can have a bigger hardrive than a WiiU (you know the supposed nex-gen console). So who is really getting ripped off here? Also while one account per vita memory card is dumb, that doesn't excuse Nintendo in this case. This is just another instance of fans getting ripped off.
Nintendo had a chance to really win back fans with system, but ever since it was announced they have been making mistake after mistake, lying to fans, stripping the console down to the essentials (but keeping the price the same) and its fans take it.
If Sony had pulled even one of the things Nintendo did, you would be ripping them apart. But in the end you are a Troll with a very lubed up asshole and a smiling Reggie standing over you.

The console that is basically christmas list hot item #1 is usually limited to 1 per person
the wii had absolutely no online besides the occasional game (Mario kart and brawl are the only ones i can list with online) and E-shop.
It wasn't built for the Online gaming realm.

Well I guess this wont be much of a problem, as long as Nintendo makes sure the Wii U doesn't start suffering from something along the lines of YLOD or RROD, which in the case it does suffer of something alike lots of people will get screwed over

even if they limited me to one console at checkout and i wanted 2 all i would have to do is cross the street to target to buy another.I dont care if it is there first step into this generation of gaming, nintendo would have to be extremely ignorant not to realize how stupid it is to have the user id locked to the console it was created on.

I'm guessing that may be country dependant because I have three pre-ordered for my household, all from the same store.
I don't see this being such a problem anyway, first off - It's a 16gb/32gb console which tells me they're going to have a very limited online store just like the current Nintendo eShop, you could fit their entire 3DS range onto a single SD card. Not only that but there will not be an achievement system linked with the games and your user ID.
These two alone make it no great loss if you had to make a new ID because of a console fault or what ever. There's very limited things tying you down to the same username.
BUT, even if you downloaded one game, I can see why people would be annoyed if they lost it. Nonetheless, surely they will have a support helpline you can call and deactivate your user ID from that specific console if you had to buy a new one.

. I meant beyond repair and hopefully they do implement that feature down the road.
