Wii Harddrive questions

My dog ran through the room while I was playing my wii, the only thing that happened to was that the sensor bar got ripped out and now the sensor bar port is all screwed up. So my question is, if you take apart the wii will all of my data be delelted? Because I would like to see if I can just buy a new port on amazon, take apart the wii and put the new port in it. Can someone tell me if this is possible?

Get two candles, light them and put them equal length like the wii sensor bar, temporary sensor bar so you can move your data.

I don't think your data will be deleted if you just take your Wii apart because everything's in the hard drive.

wii sensor bar is just infared light.

the plug is just a power plug.


you can just get a wireless sensor bar and all it does it eat batteries. No sync or anything.
