Wonder how many sequels for AC3 there will be until AC4
I'd assume this will be the only one to be part of a "ACIII" series, at least in the main console lineage (I'd put money on the Vita game involving this new assassin.). Assuming this game finishes the 2012 storyline, the next console game will probably start a new saga and hence get the numbering four.
In other news, my god am I excited for this one. Very much looking forward to it.

Man, my excitement for this has skyrocketed over the last couple days. All the leaks, now official confirmations with boxart and magazine covers. This is going to be awesome. And I agree with Ps360's earlier comment (as I've echoed many other times). I want to play as a female assassin! Maybe in the next trilogy, we'll finally get that chance. Also, if they've been working on this game for 3+ years or so like they've been saying, I expect it to be as huge as AC2 was, if not bigger. Imagine the story length from AC2, but with the best of all the extra side-content they've been adding into the games since? Could we finally get a 60+ hour AC game? Yes, please! Give us 10 sequences of ancestor, and 10-15 of Desmond, and I'll be super happy.
Kills From Shadows will be his name and it will be glorious.
Doom runs a country, bitch! A nation of slaves! Dig you a grave! I'll make Umbrella look like Welfare, minimum wage! Doom is getting enraged! I come harder! Killed my ex-girlfriend and turned her into a suit of armor! Beat you to death with your legs, leave you in stitches, Marvel 2 is the shit, RE 5 is for bitches!

AC3 seems have the least interesting setting so far in the series... bring back Ezio and Altair!
The American Revolution was basically a rag-tag militia defeating the greatest military and navy of the day. That's a pretty inspiring story there. That time period may not have the architecture of Renaissance Italy, but it was a (mostly) unblemished landscape thick with wildlife. The beauty of that possible setting is enough.
