US Playstation Store Update - April 10, 2012

The higly anticpated 2D fighter Skullgirls is now available to download on the PlayStation Store! A fast-paced, 2D fighting game developed with the tournament fighting game community in mind, Skullgirls draws on the best features the genre has to offer and is designed to be a tournament-grade fighter while remaining approachable and engaging for the casual player. Don’t forget there is a demo available as well.

If you need a sugar fix, you’ll want to check out World Gone Sour. Assume the role of a lost piece of candy destined to find its way to the ultimate goal: your stomach! On the other hand, if you missed out on the critically acclaimed Add-ons to Grand Theft Auto IV, you can now download them as the PS3 Full Game section sees the release of Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes From Liberty City. PlayStation Plus subscribers can pick up this content for the great price of $11.99 for this week only.

The Pinball Arcade is out now on the PlayStation Store. PS3 and PS Vita owners take note: when you purchase the PS3 version, you get the PS Vita version bundled along with it! Running at a buttery-smooth 60 frames per second with eye-popping graphical and lighting effects, this is the perfect pinball game to grab on the go. Future DLC for the game will also be able to be purchased once and accessed on both PS3 and PS Vita.

Great new Add-Ons are also hitting the Store today. Uncharted 3 wraps up the Fortune Hunters Club content with the Drake’s Deception Multiplayer Map Pack. (Remember, this is the last week to take advantage of Fortune Hunters Club!) Offering all new maps and content for the thriving UC3 multiplayer community, you’ll want to check out the all new levels, each with their own dynamic environmental changes. Mass Effect 3 fans will also want to snag the Resurgence Pack bringing new maps, weapons and characters to the co-op action of ME3’s multiplayer.

The PS2 Classic library sees a great addition this week as well with the release of Persona 3 FES. The definitive version of Persona 3 on PS2, in its original form, is now available to download for $9.99. It’s a perfect way to experience this classic RPG with an original story, heart-stopping battles and fun in-game social adventures.

In PlayStation Plus news, in addition to the aforementioned GTA IV Episodes From Liberty City for $11.99, you’ll also find an exclusive demo for the upcoming release of House of the Dead 4, as well as a free PS mini Defenders of the Mystic Garden.
There’s much more content including the beautiful soundtrack for Journey, great Add-On content like the Ezio Auditore costume for Final Fantasy XIII-2 and much more.

For anyone who cares the Resident Evil DLC released this week isn't the anticipated release that has the trophy content. This DLC is literally nothing more then a demo for that DLC which still doesn't have an official release.
