Ubisoft has announced the first Assassin's Creed title to come to the PlayStation Vita, Assassin's Creed III Liberation, and for the first time in the franchise, the Assassin you play as is a lady called Aveline. The game is due to release on October 30, 2012.
Assassin's Creed III Liberation is set in New Orleans in the late 18th century, a city on the brink of a rebellion as the Spanish Empire imposes its new rule. The game will also offer a number of unique incentives for players to tie Liberation to their PS3 copy of Assassin's Creed III, including a dedicated character skin and upgraded ammo packs.
In this short video below, we get a good look at what deadly equipment Aveline de Grandpré has at her disposal.
It's great to see the Assassin's Creed franchise making it's way to the PS Vita and I'm sure plenty of people are really looking forward to this. I'm interested to see how they will implement the PS Vita's technology.
