XCOM: Enemy Unknown the game that comes to you from developer Firaxis Games has just had its trophy list revealed. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a turn-based tactics, strategy video game. In XCOM: Enemy Unknown you step into the shoes of the commander of the top secret XCOM Project. As the commander your objective is to defend Earth and stop the alien invasion that is going on. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is set to release for PS3 on October 9, 2012 in North America and October 12, 2012 in Europe.

Impossible shapes up to be extremely tough. You are bound to lose a lot of troopers, and that puts you behind the curve... If you played the original you can start on Classic, otherwise start on Normal.

In higher difficulty levels slow and steady wins the race. To get this trophy you need to win an abduction mission (one of the standard mission types) in 5 turns, which is NOT a lot of time. So you need a) to be a bit lucky to "draw" a small map and b) take a few risks getting through the map quickly. It's likely a matter of reloading a few times (so nothing for Ironman mode).

Normal difficulty is tagged as "for non-strategy gamers" and is beatable. Classic is more along the lines of the original game (read: hard), and Impossible is supposed to be extremely hard. That's where most players are going to struggle going for the plat.

Ironman mode (only one save - and that's an autosave) kind of adds half a step. So beating II mode (Impossible Ironman) is going to be a very elite club.

I'm interested in this, but I'll wait for a price drop on this one. Glad that there's almost no MP trophies.
