New The Last Of Us Trailer Released & Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

The Last Of Us the game that comes to you from Naughty Dog just got a new trailer released and official release at the VGA's. The Last Of Us is Naughty Dog's new IP which is set in an apocalypse where people have been infected by a fungus. In the game you play as Joel and Ellie two survivors on a mission to survive this apocalypse and find any other survivors. It will be tough as they will have to face the infected survivors and looters. Joel and Ellie will have to use teamwork to survive this as they go across the United States.

During the VGA's a new trailer for The Last Of Us was released and man was it good. The new trailer that was released introduces players' to some new characters. The new trailer shows Joel and Ellie talking to some new characters about surviving this apocalypse, but the more important thing about the trailer is that it reveals the games official release date. You heard right the new trailer reveals the games release date. The official release date for The Last Of Us is May 7, 2013 for the PS3. Another thing revealed by Naughty Dog is the games pre-order bonuses and official boxart. Their are two different pre-order bonuses for separate retailers that were revealed. The first thing that you can get if you pre-order anywhere besides GameStop is the Sights and Sounds Pack, which will give you the games official soundtrack, a dynamic theme, and two avatars, which are Winter Joel and Winter Ellie. The other pack you can get is the Survival Pack, which you get if you pre-order from GameStop. The Survival Pack includes Bonus Experience Points for the multiplayer, a multiplayer melee attack booster, extra starting in-game cash, special customizable character items for multiplayer, and finally two special skins for Joel and Ellie, which will be unlocked after the campaign. Finally the games boxart was revealed as well.

This trailer is the worst of em all (or wasn't that exciting) IMO. Still can't wait for the game, it's the only game why I'm keeping my PS3 & the last console game of the gen I'll probably be interested in.

So happy it isn't out in the September- December deathmatch arena, looks like great games are going to flow steadily through the first six months of 2013.
