Dead Island: Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition Revealed

Dead Island: Riptide, the game that comes to you from developer Techland just had its collector's edition revealed for the game. Dead Island: Riptide is the continuation of the Dead Island story. Dead Island: Riptide follows the stories of the four survivors from the first game and will add a new playable character to the game. In Dead Island: Riptide you have the option to play as Xian, Purn, Sam B, Logan, and the games new character John Morgan. Dead Island: Riptide is set on the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago. Dead Island: Riptide is set to release for the PS3 on April 23, 2013 in North America and April 26, 2013 in Europe.

Today Techland revealed the Rigor Mortis Collector's Edition for their next game Dead Island: Riptide. Last year Techland asked fans of the series in a poll on what items they wanted in the Rigor Mortis Edition of the game. The Rigor Mortis Edition will contain quite a few items that fans may or may not like when they get it. The Rigor Mortis Edition will be priced at $80 when the game releases this April. The following items are in the Rigor Mortis Edition:

• Zombie hula girl bobble figurine
• Bloody zombie arm bottle opener magnet
• Bungalow key with branded wood keychain
• Replica Dead Island suitcase packaging

I have bought so many collectors edition games over the years that the only item that is not in a closet collecting dust is the GTA IV safe deposit box that you got for pre-ordering the game. That said I will be getting the regular edition.
