The Last of Us to Have Longest N.D. Campaign So Far

Now does that mean its long in terms of diverse gameplay areas, or long as in being in the same area for an hour doing the same thing (Uncharted 2 when your climbing the goddamn hotel) and do that throughout the game. I'm not trolling I'm just saying, Uncharted has that in there games where sections are long but there repetitive to the point to where there very boring but of course its not going to be like uncharted I'm just saying from there track record that it could happen.

For 60 or 70 US $ I expect my game to be 20+ hours long, 30 hrs even if you count collectibles. The characters have to be interesting, likeable, believable and I need to feel like I'm involved in this story. I can remember the only time I felt more connected to a story and character, was in Red Dead Redemption.

I can't believe everyone is excited about 20 hours... I know, for Naughty Dog and every other developer, that sounds great. But I'm sick of paying $60 for a game that takes me 15 hours to beat... The ONLY thing I have to look forward to in 2013 in terms of gameplay is FFX HD. I'm terribly sick of beating - no, platinuming games in 20 hours... Sickening. But, as with everyone else, I'll continue to pay full price for games so long as a minute pre-order is available.

Quality>Quantity, I've replayed Uncharted 2 A LOT of times, even specific missions only too, that's what makes a great game.

The longer the better. Though even if it isn't too long, I'm sure I'll get my money's worth, because I love Naughty Dog (and I've platinumed every Uncharted except Golden Abyss). I'll do my best to platinum this, and I'm excited to see if the enemy AI and dynamic combat are as great as they look. Keep on keepin' on, ND.

That's a good point; I forgot about how long Jak 2 and 3 were. If they meant to include those games in their statement, this game must be at LEAST 20 hours long. That's exciting.
