The Last of Us, the highly anticipated PS3 exclusive that comes to you from the infamous developer Naughty Dog received some exciting news from the developer. The Last of Us follows the stories of Joel and Ellie as they go across the U.S. trying to survive this apocalypse that is going on. These guys will have to work together if they want to survive. Their goal won't come easy though, as they will have to fend off the fungus infected people and looters to complete their goal. TLoU releases June 14, 2013.
A few days ago, it was revealed that The Last of Us would be seeing a delay. A recent post on the Playstation Blog tells us a number of things, but nothing more so than Naughty Dog’s high hopes for this game. Creative Director at Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann, took some time to relegate his feelings to the written word. I for one am fine with the delay. If they can polish it up, and not screw it up. I'm down with it.
And a little more..“The Last of Us is an ambitious project. In many ways it may be Naughty Dog's most ambitious project to date – brand new universe and cast of characters, brand new tech, brand new genre, not to mention it's easily the longest campaign Naughty Dog has ever made.”
“As we entered the final phase of development for The Last of Us, we came to realize just how massive Joel and Ellie's journey is. But instead of cutting corners or compromising our vision, we came to the tough decision that the game deserved a few extra weeks to ensure every detail of The Last of Us was up to Naughty Dog’s internal high standards."
