    Mass Effect 3 Citadel & Reckoning DLC Announced

    Mass Effect 3 DLC is back with the announcement of the Citadel & Reckoning DLC for the PS3. Mass Effect 3, the highly popular RPG that comes to you from developer BioWare just had its Citadel and Reckoning DLC announced. Mass Effect 3 is the last game in the Mass Effect series so far and concludes Commander Shepards journey to defeat the Reapers once and for all. Commander Shepard must get his group together so he can take the fight to the reapers and finish them. Mass Effect 3 was released on the PS3 in March 2012.

    Today BioWare announced on their blog the next two sets of DLC for Mass Effect 3. The first DLC that was revealed is the Citadel DLC, which is the latest Singleplayer DLC for the game. The Citadel DLC will follow Commander Shepard on a new mission that will allow him to reconnect with old members from the entire series when it releases. The Citadel DLC will be released on March 5, 2013 in North America and March 6, 2013 in Europe. The DLC will be priced at $14.99.

    The other DLC that was announced is the Reckoning DLC, which is new DLC for the multiplayer portion of the game. The new multiplayer DLC will add 7 new weapons that include the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun, and Lancer Assault Rifle. The new DLC will also add new mods and equipment, that feature stuff like the Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade. The Reckoning DLC will be releasing on February 26, 2013 for Free. Below is the Omega trailer to refresh you on what the last DLC was about.

    More DLC? I'm happy but up goes the total cost of Mass Effect 3 (I'd like to get all the DLC when I get it) again. The Citadel DLC sounds cool, as well.

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss sssss

    although after the way Omega burned me, I'll be hesitant before spending another $15

    Current Playthrough Counts:
    Mass Effect: 25 || Mass Effect 2: 44
    Mass Effect 3: 15
    Add me for ME3 multiplayer shenanigans.
    First legit Mass Effect 3 100% on PS3T.

    Thanks to Luckay for the ETGWG bar, and Qurb for the sig and avy!

    The single player DLC sounds fun, but I'm sure it's going to be a prequel event. Considering the endings. So it's kind of a bummer considering we all know our own shepard's fate.

    How many story-based DLC are there now with this? I think I may get them all in one fell swoop if/when the price drops.

    Why did they have to boot up the price to 15..? I would have enough to buy this and the Dead Space 3 dlc if it was just 10...
