God of War: Ascension Single-Player Demo Out on PSN Today

God of War: Ascension, the latest game in the God of War series will have its single-player demo release today during the store update. The game comes to you from Sony Santa Monica Studios and tells the story of Kratos as he goes on a path of revenge after he is tricked into killing his own wife and kid. Kratos will being seeking revenge on Ares after he is tricked and will do anything to get his revenge, whether that means destroying anything that gets in his path. God of War: Ascension is set to release on the PS3 on March 12, 2013 in North America and March 13, 2013 in Europe.

With less than a weeks to go until the big release for God of War: Ascension, Sony Santa Monica will be releasing the God of War: Ascension single-player demo on the store today. The demo will allow players to get a sneak peak at what to expect in the game when it releases this March on the PlayStation 3. Players' can expect to have a lot of blood and gore fest in the demo, so they won't be disappointed. Finally to go along with the announcement, Sony Santa Monica has released a new trailer for the game.

I have the game pre-ordered and it's coming so soon I think I won't play the demo. I've loved the others so I trust I'll love this too.

Fuck me bloody with a spoon. I really gotta start staying up on release dates. My old lady just asked me what preorders I had and when they would be released. I told her next month for this, but I didn't realise it was so close. Hmm. I'll pay the rest off Friday.

How is this ANY different to the original story?

[EDIT: Which also means that there will be no epic boss battle with Ares as it has already been done?]
But still, looks good, great graphics as always. The MP beta showed promise but GOW is all about the SP experience.

Same here. Im gonna spend the extra $20 and get the Collectors Edition too...

And the day before it comes out Im going to see Tenacious D. Gonna be an awesome week lol...

Think you should be playing Crysis 3 and not a demo my friend..Maybe when you trade one of your copies you can buy GOD ASC…

Thanks for the news although the game isn't that far away now and for most GOW fans I don't think a demo is going to push us away from purchasing it
