After over twenty years, one of Capcom’s most beloved 8-bit games is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Disney, WayForward and Capcom are proud to present Ducktales Remastered! Oh, how I love thee. Through some miracle or planetary alignment, and the word ending, the little game Capcom and Disney fans thought they’d never see again is being remastered and lovingly enhanced for the millions of us who can’t quite get their old NES cartridge from 1989 to play anymore. Seriously, just quit trying.
Capcom is bringing back DuckTales in a new game developed by WayForward Technologies. This is one of the two new games teased by Capcom ahead of the "World of Capcom" panel, along with Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. The new DuckTales, of course, is is actually a full remake of the NES game, with new features including a museum and "A MONEY BIN YOU CAN ACTUALLY SWIM IN!".
It is a Mega Man-esque game in which Scrooge McDuck used his cane as both a golf club and a pogo stick. The new version has new hand-drawn sprites, and features original voice work. It's coming to Wii U, PSN, and XBLA for $15.

Total Awards: 10Quite possibly, one of the greatest side scroller action game I have ever played. I pumped hundreds of hours into this game, which along with Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers were two of my favorite childhood games. I will be dropping my coin into Capcom's pocket day one for this title.
For those who never played this, or are too young to have played the NES classic, do yourself a favor if you're a fan of the genre and buy this.

Man that stiffened my feathers. I definitely will get this day one, I can't recall how many times I spent blowin' on that damn cartridge and cleanin' it with an alcohol soaked q-tip to get get it to work. Oh, I did sing along to the songs though lyrics weren't necessary.
