But, but, but... barbed wire, paper records, and burning flowers were supposed to equate to a World War II title! This game isn't about World War II. Double ewe tea eff mate.
In all seriousness, I can take very little from the video since it looked almost entirely to be live action. I'd say that they definitely seem to have a genuine grasp of the horror elements. Now the question is will it deliver in the gameplay department to supplement it, or will it just be a reel of graphic imagery? Time will tell, but color me intrigued.
Need help? Just ask (blank friend requests will always be ignored)
I'm going to reserve my opinion until after I see some real gameplay video and not some Marilyn Manson music-less video substitute. And to find out exactly who's engine is being used to make this game. If it's Besthesda's than I'll pass, I just can't see myself playing a survival horror games that has frame rate issues.....
I wrote a story of an offshoot scenario in the RE world, guess what the title was: RE The Evil Within
A snippet from what terrible ideas I had in 2007.
the most important thing to remember is that the game should be as realistic as possible, the puzzles should not be moving statues of anceint gods in a police department, and that the whole point is to uncover how fucking crazy it would be to be a monster, without knowing it.
3a. final boss- to beat the game, you must fight the previous test subject as your zombie form.(how bitchin is that?!!) but the point is to actually destroy the lab, and the school itself, to protect the world(and umbrella) from knowing about this special advanced virus. so the player dies in the end, but the world is safe.
Good to see Shinji out and about. Though, this looks more Clive Barker than anything else to me and yeah, 13 Ghosts fits in well.
Speculation: The guy's blood interacting with pictures is what creates the monsters.
Simply amazing. You have two of the biggest creative giants in the industry working on a high budget high profile project, you simply cannot go wrong! I'm sure this game will be a tour de force when and long after it is released!
