Now this for sure will get those on the fence off of it and buy it for sure. I don't think I'll be getting one, but man this is a good deal.

'Twas a crying fucking shame to price those memory cards as they did. Still too expensive, but better. I was hoping for Chinese knock-offs to enter the market, but I haven't found any.

I purchased my 32gb memory card on Amazon.co.uk for 49.99 which retails at 74.99 normally.

I don't see it as much of a drop as I picked up my Vita with sly cooper game and a non sony acessories pack for $230 from a retail store here, and they quite often had them for sale at 199 already.
The memory card price cut is welcome though I wouldn't go for anything less than 16GB if you have plus.

The thing here is, with the "retail" price coming down, we'll start to see even LOWER sale prices, possibly down to $150 for the system with a game and memcard bundled. And as some pointed out, Amazon will have the cards even cheaper now that they retail for less. So while these prices in and of themselves aren't anything amazing, they allow wholesalers to offer even cheaper prices, further lowering the entry threshold. Hopefully this will help entice more people to pick up the system, especially with the PS+ content, Killzone: Mercenary and Tearaway, and the forthcoming PS4 connectivity.

This really isn't much of a price drop, which makes me doubt it'll persuade those on the fence about buying a vita.

I'm pretty sure you can find better deals Online somewhere but that's pretty cool. Vita sales must be dropping for them to resort to lowering there overly priced MC's

hopefully Amazon will have some great deals as some of you have suggested. I have an 8GB card that came with my bundle and desperately need a bigger card. I would like to go all out for the 32GB card but couldn't get past the prices in the past. Furthermore I don't see why they haven't come out with a 64GB card yet, since you can get micro SD cards that big. People use them in their GoPro's all the time.

I didn't expect a price drop until around the holiday season, but I'm not complaining. This will definitely help my chances of buying a Vita by year's end.
