Last year, PC exclusive Diablo III came to consoles, improving the single-player portion of the game and even providing a new spark to gameplay. With a new generation of consoles right on the heels of the PS3/360 release, it was announced that PS4 and X1 players would also get a chance to play the demon slaying loot-fest. The only question was when.
Today Blizzard announced that a new package will be available for players, bundling the core game with its newest DLC add-on Reaper of Souls. The Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will be available for PS3/X360 for $39.99, and PS4/X1 for $59.99 on August 19, 2014. The price parity is simply due to the game being out for nearly a year on the last-gen machines. For those of you that may have already played on PS3/360, you may transfer your characters to the PS4/X1 version. And a final note for all of you that obsess over graphical fidelity on
next-gencurrent-gen consoles, the game and DLC will run @ 1080p/60FPS on PS4.
