This thread is first and foremost a discussion thread, but it also has a poll. Please do not vote in the poll until you have earned the platinum trophy for this game. That being said, we invite you to post below and discuss the difficult aspects of the game, even if you do not yet have the platinum trophy in your collection.
When you post, give more than just a number. Give reasons why you feel the game is easy or hard. What parts of the game are easy or hard? Were there collectibles? Were they a pain? Is there a required online component? How easy or hard is the online portion? What is the most frustrating part about the game?
Once you have obtained the platinum trophy, feel free to return to this thread and post your official vote. Say something to the effect of "I give this a 2 because there was only one tough spot and the collectibles were easy to find". At this point, you may also add your vote to the poll.

3-Moderate : I'd have to give it this for some of the trickier trophies like Lead Asprin and some of the collectables. Professional was a real pain for me and I had a co-op partner. I can only imagine using the AI. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward and not overly difficult.

The plat is easy, but extremely time consuming

Moderate a lot to do a lot of fun very enjoyable with the co op mode

MODERATE, Professional was a piece of cake with infinite rocket launcher and L. Hawk, only problem i had was that chapter savanah i think, the one with the mounted guns that boss fight was a pain.

Moderate. Professional is easy once you have some of the better weapons. A couple of tricky trophies, but nothing ridiculous. Farming for money to buy the figures can also be annoying, but there are good chapters to do it on. The DLC is much more challenging than the main campaign.

3 Moderate I almost gave this a hard rating because I did professional alone so not only watching out for me, but my computer A.I as well. Now the bosses really didn't give me trouble on this mode or enemies that could kill you in one hit or put you dying status which leads to death on professional, but the packs of majini were ones to watch out for and lots of battles with packs of them. The collectibles are tough to find so I had to use a guide to find them.

I played 99% of the game co-op, with the same friend and this game is pretty fun, although it's a time consuming Platinum. Some of the collectibles are damn close to impossible without a guide. Playing through on the different difficulty levels was a bit of a grind as well, but not so bad if you have a friend along. A fun Platinum, that just takes a bit of time and effort, and is a helluva lot more fun if you bring a friend along for the ride.

I fairly found this as "Easy", even though Professional difficulty can be a pain at times, especially Chapter 4 (the one with the troll boss at the end and you not being able to use your weapons except for the car's gatling gun). As for collectibles and S-ranking the chapters, they were easier than expected as you can use your infinite rocket launcher and L. Hawk to render zombies into dust. The rest of the trophies were pretty straightforward and self-explanatory. =3

3-- moderate
This one is good, but a time costuming one to upgrade your weapons all the way.
Also, it was very nice that the online aspect was kept out of obtaining the plat, because the online, in my opinion, is the worst I've ever played

2. Easy-There was nothing in this game that made it hard to obtain any trophy. I even found professional to be easy. Given that you have an infinite RPG, it should be. The only thing that tripped me up was Ndesu. You have to be perfect on that run and perfect on the QTE's. Barring that 30 min that one part takes you, everything else should come easy to you.

Time consuming but not overly difficult. Quite a few collectibles and a couple of areas were tricky on professional but I played the whole thing co-op with another person and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I thought this was a pretty tough
I went with Moderate because the difficulty of the SP story was not overly tough (even on Professional as long as you had infinite ammo weapons). The fact that you had to play through the game so many times was an awful grind. Ch 2-3 boss fight with Ndesu was absolutely one of the hardest boss fights I can ever remember. It took me over 100 tries. The collectible items were a pain, even with a guide, haha.
My biggest pet peeve about this game was the aiming system. I hated the tiny laser dot!
It was also a massive pain to get used to not being able to move/strafe while aiming your gun.
After all that is said and done, this game didn't make you grind for 50 hours online (huge bonus) and the co-op play was quite fun.

Moderate: Professional was tricky and it was time consuming.

3 - Moderate. Overall, everything is fairly easy, even professional difficulty. The only section you will have trouble on is beating Ndesu. Other than that, infinite ammo and especially the infinite RPG make this game a breeze.

I voted hard because professional mode was frustrating at times. I played solo with the AI. I couldn't tell you how many times I died because Sheva just stood there and looked at me while I was dying. The boss at the end of chapter 2-3 (Savanah) was the hardest part to get by. I did use infinite ammo for my Lightnign Hawk and then the infinite rocket launcher for the bosses, which made pro mode easier than I thought it would be. Also this game gave me my first and only Platinum trophy so far. I was really happy when I saw my first Platinum trophy pop up. Now I am working on other ones.

Voted 3/5 - but if you have a friend with upgraded/unlimited weapons, it's easier.
