The trophies listed in this guide are arranged in XMB order

Backup your save files and sync your trophies
To avoid the case of having a corrupted save file and starting all over again, I suggest that you back up your save files and sync your trophies often

100% Synchronization
  • If you are playing a Memory for the first time and you failed to the requirement, you can always Restart from Checkpoint and this will reset the requirement.
  • If you have finished the storyline and you haven't manage to get 100% on certain Memories, you can always replay them by going to Database>DNA then select the Sequence and Memory you want to replay

How to earn money
Your main source of money in Liberation is the Economic minigame that you can access in your Assassin's HQ. You only have access to a few ports at the beginning but after you progress enough through the storyline, you will be able to gain access to more ports that provides goods that can be sold at a high price. You will also have access to the best ship later in the game and I also recommend that you buy the best ship which can hold 200 cargo.

Multiplayer
To reach the max level quickly, fight your opponents strongest agent which is the last one on the right. Even if your agent's energy is empty, they can still participate in battles.

[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits

It appears that Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints and What is She Doing? are currently glitched.

Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints is glitched because Sequence 9 Memory 1 has issues of not being able to complete the requirement. This should have been fixed by patching your game to 1.01 but there are still some people who are having trouble with this.

What is She Doing? is somehow glitched because there are problems unlocking this trophy for some reason. Some people said that even if they did the requirement on the places posted below, there's no trophy that pops out.


[top]Roadmap

Step 1. Play through the story and find every Citizen E
Just play through the story until you reach Sequence 9 Memory 2. By this time you should have killed 1 Citizen E which is a part of the storyline. There are 4 other Citizen by this point which you can hunt down. The final Citizen E is story related.

Step 2. 100% Synchronization
If you missed or failed to the requirement on certain Memories, you can replay it by going to the Database option then go to DNA and clean up the memories you need.

Step 3. Collect all collectibles
There are a lot of collectibles to be mentioned here. I suggest that you keep track of the collectibles you collect by using a map. The maps for each collectible has been provided below.

Step 4. Complete all side quests
The side quests are fairly easy to do. 3 of the side quests that you need to do are always labeled on your map while the last one needs a map because their location aren't labeled. A map for Bayou Fever has been provided below.

Step 5. Multiplayer
Unlike it's predecessor on the PS3, the multiplayer for Liberation is very much different. It is like the Mediterranean Defense from the other games which only has an online mode. Reaching max level should take a couple of hours of grinding. The other 2 are very easy to do.

Complete Aveline's Story
Complete the game (fake ending)

To unlock this trophy, all you need to do is to complete DNA Sequence 9.

This DNA Sequence has 3 Memories to complete and here are the following Memories:

The Truth
Kill all Citizen E and experience the true ending

There are 6 Citizen E that you have to assassinate in order to unlock the trophy. Some of these Citizen E will not appear until you progress further the storyline. Your clue here that a new Citizen E has spawned is when you notice that a cutscene has some kind of static or glitch appearing.

2 of the Citizen E's are story related. The other 4 are all available for hunting once you reach Sequence 9 Memory 2 so all you need to do now is to find them.

If you finished the game and you are still missing some these Citizen E, no need to worry because you can still find them even if you are done with the story

Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints
Achieve 100% Synchronization in all Sequences

Do not worry too much about this trophy because the requirements are fairly easy to do.

Each DNA Sequence has different sets of memories and some memories has a constraint or a requirement in order to get 100% synchronization and some memories just requires you to complete the memory.

Just a tip here. You can always restart from a checkpoint to reset the requirement if you failed to do it. For example there is a mission where the requirement is Take no damage. You made it halfway the memory and a checkpoint was triggered then you ran into some enemies and got hit thus negating the Take no damage requirement. You don't have to restart or replay the whole memory mission all over again, you can just restart from a checkpoint to reset the requirement and continue from where you stopped.

If you weren't able to do the requirement for the whole playthrough and you didn't restart from a checkpoint, you can always replay a memory by going to the DNA category under the Database menu.

Human Shields
Block 10 firing lines with a human shield

The trophy is a bit misleading since I already managed to block more than 10 shots but there's no trophy. The trophy popped out for me once I managed to use 10 human shields.

A notification of an enemy who is going to fire a gun is when there there will be a yellow triangle above its head. To make a human shield, look for an enemy near your position and press before the shooters will fire their gun.

Diarist
Collect every diary page


There are 30 diary pages that you have to collect. Page 1 and Page 30 are story related and the other 28 pages are scattered around New Orleans, The Bayou and Chichen Itza.

A tip here if you want to find the diary page's location is to turn on your Eagle Vision while traveling around and when you see the saving icon, there is a new collectible icon revealed nearby your position so just take a look at your minimap.

Egg Hunter
Collect every alligator egg


There are 12 eggs that you have to collect. Before you collect the eggs, make sure to kill the Alligator nearby first. It only takes 1 correct QTE to kill an Alligator. If missed pressing the correct QTE button you will take a huge damage. Make sure your HP doesn't hit zero so try to get the QTE right.
Take note that #1 is story related.

A tip here if you want to find the egg's is to turn on your Eagle Vision while traveling around and when you see the saving icon, there is a new collectible icon revealed nearby your position so just take a look at your minimap.

Statuette Collector
Collect every Mayan statuette


There are 10 statuette that you have to collect. 8 are found around Chichen Itza and the other 2 are on two dungeons that you will go through while playing through the storyline.

Persona Collector
Collect every persona-specific collectible

Each Persona has a unique collectible that can only be collected while you are wearing the corresponding Persona. You will have to collect 10 for each collectible. You can check your progress on the Options menu and under the Stats category then go to Exploration to check your percentage progress.

To collect these collectibles, you need to find a person who has the corresponding icon and you need to charm him by simply pressing when the target is highlighted and you will automatically get a Jeweled Brooch after charming the target. Your search is only limited in New Orleans.

Machete
Kill 5 guards in 15 seconds using only the Sugarcane Machete (without using the Chain Kill)

The Sugarcane Machete is one of the default weapons that the Slave and Assassin Persona can use. Chain Kill is where you will use the D-Pad so DO NOT use that. This trophy is easier than it sounds. If you played any of the AC games on the PS3, you will be using that standard chain kill method you got used to there where after killing an enemy, quickly switch onto your next target and press You can use a smokebomb and do this old style of chain killing. 15 seconds is a lot of time to do this. Just find a large group of enemy like the place on the image below and doing the requirement shouldn't be too much problem.

Climber
Climb 8848 meters

How to unlock this is self-explanatory. You can check the total height you have already climbed at under the Options menu then Stats category and Navigation.

You can use a rubberband tactic here. Find a wall that Aveline can't climb up to but she can wall run on it. Now put rubberbands on your and left stick and leave her there doing wallruns.

Survivor
Survive 5 alligator encounters

Alligators are found near Alligator Eggs. So when you spot an egg, be ready for an Alligator nearby. You can kill an Alligator by doing an Air Assassination as long as it has not yet spotted you. If it did spot you, prepare for quick QTE. You only need to press 1 correct QTE and the Alligator is done for.

Charming
Charm 50 NPC's

You need to use the Lady Persona in order to unlock this trophy. You can do this on any NPC as long as they have a heart symbol on their head then you press to charm that NPC but I have a place where I suggest that you can grind the amount needed to unlock the trophy quickly. Once you have the Lady Persona on go the location below in New Orleans.

Disguised
Change your persona 50 times

You can do this anytime as long as you have not activated a memory and you are just freely roaming around. Simply go to any Dressing Chamber and change your Persona 50 times between Assassin, Lady and Slave and the trophy should unlock on your 50th Persona change. Just re-enter the chamber to change your Persona repeatedly.

Shipmaster
Buy the maximum number of ships (8)

Gerald will introduce you to your official HQ later in the game and in this place you will have access to this minigame which is also your main source of earning money. You automatically have access to 1 ship so you need to buy 7 more. Each port can only hold 4 ship at once so if one port is full, buy ships on another port.

Swamp Queen
Tree Run for 10 branches without touching the ground

You can unlock this trophy once you gain access to The Bayou starting from DNA Sequence 2. Your main point of traveling through the swamp swiftly is by using the trees. This is a very easy trophy to unlock since there are a lot of branches that you will be running onto while traveling through the trees.

Tree Ninja
Complete 15 Air Assassinations from trees

This trophy only seem to count kills made using Aveline's Hidden Blades. You need to do this on a branch of a tree and not on the V-shaped trees. You must not be in a red alert phase when doing this trophy. Load up Sequence 3 - Memory 3 - Vanishing Slaves and farm the kills needed here. Once you have killed every guard, let the memory end and DO NOT restart from a checkpoint as this will reset the kills. After the memory ends, repeat the process 2 more times to unlock the trophy

What is She Doing?
Kill 7 guards on rooftops in the Lady Persona

There are two spots known for now that can unlock the trophy. 1 spot is the house where you killed the governor during Sequence 1. You will see the balcony connecting to the roof. Lure the guards to the roof and do the kill counts there. The other spot is at the balcony of your HQ. Lure guards to the top of your HQ and kill them in this balcony.

Move through New Orleans for 10 minutes in the Assassin Persona

To unlock this trophy, Aveline must be on New Orleans and she is wearing her Assassin Persona. Now all you need to do is to move around the area for 10 minutes and this trophy will be unlocked quickly. Very simple isn't it?

Note: Assassin Persona ALWAYS has 1 Notoriety level.

Deadly Haystack
Kill 50 enemies from haystacks using the Blowpipe

This trophy will require a bit of grinding and I have a place where I suggest that you can grind this quick. First you must already have the Blowpipe on your weapon wheel and only the Assassin and Slave Persona can use this. You need to find guards near a haystack to do this. Once you have a target, simply hold to let Aveline fire the blowpipe.

You just have to get to the first cutscene and abort memory. This will take you back to New Orleans and very close to the respawning Dressing Room.

Kill 25 enemies with the Parasol Gun

To unlock this trophy, first you must use your Lady Persona and you must already have the Parasol on your weapon wheel. Gerald will give this to Aveline as you advance through the story. Simply target any guard you see with the Parasol and shoot by pressing and walk away like nothing happened. You can do this quick at Place d'Armes (the place where there is a gibbet) because there are a lot of guards around the place.

My First Dressing Chamber
Buy your 1st Dressing Chamber

You will unlock this trophy early in the game during DNA Sequence 1. There will be a memory called The Key to the Problem. Once you meet up with Gerald and have a conversation with him, he will tell Aveline about a house near the governor's mansion and Gerald will ask Aveline to buy the house and become a dressing chamber. Once you reach that location and you have bought the house, you will earn this trophy. You don't have to worry about the money because Gerald will give Aveline the money needed.

Buy All Dressing Chambers
Buy every Dressing Chamber


Easy trophy as long as you have money. You need to buy every Dressing Chamber in New Orleans and The Bayou then the trophy should unlock after you have bought the last one. Each Dressing Chamber only costs 500 ecu. There's no need for a map of the locations because it already labeled in game.

Thief
Pickpocket 5000 ecu

Pickpocketing in Liberation has been reworked. You have to enter Precision Mode with and you will be swiping the Rear Touch slowly to steal from someone. An easy way here is to enter Max Notoriety Level with the Assassin Persona then bribe a Corrupt Magistrate and steal back your money.

Hangman
Perform 10 predator moves using the Whip

Very simple trophy. First you need to have the whip already on your weapon list and you can do this on any guard while you are on the roof. Best spot to do this is on the Restricted Area of New Orleans or at the place where there is a Gibbet at the middle of the area. You can pick any of the two. I recommend doing this on the Restricted area on the top left corner of New Orleans because there are a lot of guards here and you don't need to cause any more havoc around the area just to increase your notoriety.

Once you are on the area, go the roofs and equip your Whip and pick your target, once you have your target simply hold and repeatedly do this until the target is done for. Take note that you need to incapacitate your target for the trophy to count.

Mushroom Queen
Collect all the mushrooms collectibles


There are 10 mushrooms that you have to collect. All of this are found around The Bayou. You will only be able to collect the mushrooms once you have finished the first Bayou Fever mission.

Poison
Use berserk poison to force an enemy to kill 5 enemies

To unlock this trophy, first you must already have the Blowpipe on your weapon wheel and only the Assassin and Slave Persona can use this. An easy way to earn this is on Sequence 3 - Vanishing Slaves. Once you reach the area where you will see the cargo and guards guarding it. Go up and take a vantage point at the trees and shoot any of the guards with the Berserk Poison and just watch him kill the other guards.

Hanger
Hang an enemy on the gibbet at the Place d'Armes

The place where you have to do this is the place where you will incite a riot during Sequence 3 on a memory called In Vino Veritas. You don't have to replay the memory, all you need to do is to go to that place and find this Gibbet at the middle of the area.

You must have already obtained the Whip in order to unlock this trophy. It's best to do this with the Assassin Persona because it always has a notoriety level. Get the attention of a guard and lure him to the Gibbet, equip the whip and lock onto the target and hold to hang the target.

Synchronize all viewpoints


Just find this icon on your map and climb up the viewpoint and press to synchronize at the viewpoint. You need to synchronize all viewpoints at New Orleans, Tha Bayou and Chichen Itza for the trophy to unlock. This icon is always displayed at your map if you haven't performed a synchronization at that viewpoint yet.

There are 7 missions that you have to complete. 6 are found in New Orleans and the last one is found in The Bayou. The missions are very easy to complete and you DON'T NEED to get a 100% synchronization to unlock the trophy. Their icon is always displayed in your map.

Bayou Fever
Complete every Bayou Fever mission


There are 9 persons that you have to cure. You will only be able to see the following once you have finished the first Bayou Fever mission. They will only appear on your minimap once you have gotten close to their location. When you find one, beat them up with your fist and apply a mushroom that you have collected by pressing .

Liberation
Complete every Free Slaves mission

Predator
Kill an enemy from a tree, with the blowpipe, while using eagle vision

You can unlock this trophy while you are on DNA Sequence 5. There will be a memory called Power of Voodoo. While doing this memory, you can't miss this trophy because you will be doing its requirement a couple of times and you should be able to unlock the trophy on your first try.

Fighter
Participate in 100 fights in multiplayer

When you start the MP and play it for the first time. You will be choosing which side you are on whether you will be taking the Assassins or the Templars it is up to you. When you choose Assassins, your nodes are colored blue and you have to attack the red notes 100 times in order to unlock the trophy and vice versa. Your agents can still attack even if their energy reaches zero.

Power Master
Complete 30 economic missions in multiplayer

Economic nodes are the nodes that are colored Gray. All you have to do is to send your agents to this kind of node 30 times. I suggest picking up Economic nodes that only takes 8-10 minutes to complete so that this trophy is quickly finished.

Completionist
Reach the maximum player level in the multiplayer

The max level for the multiplayer is 15. This will a couple of hours of grinding and if you are gonna do it nonstop, watch tv shows or movies to keep yourself from getting bored. The fastest way to do this is to fight the last agent of your opponent which is probably the strongest agent of your opponent. Even if your agents reaches 0 energy, they can still participate in battles. There's no other easy way to do this.
