[top]Tips & Strategies

Save save save
This game doesn't have an auto-save feature so make sure you save often. Having multiple save files is a must because you will be using some save files as back up in order to play around with the requirements for the endings and there's also Stella's Dungeon where I recommend saving on a different save file if you don't have Histy's Emergency Aid Pack DLC.

Remake System
Take advantage of the plans that you will get in the game. If you are having trouble with some boss battles, there is a plan called Weaken Enemies. Activating it should lessen the damage you receive from enemies.

Changing the enemies and the items at the dungeons is also done here with the plans you receive. Item development is also here so if you need new items, equipment and the like, you can create those here. There's a lot more of this things so don't waste those Plan Space (MB) and Plans.

Some EXE Drive Skills are now only available after you have created it through the Remake System. Those skills that are made available through here are Neptune's Neptune Break, Noire's Infinite Slash and the like. You can still learn other EXE Drive Skills by progressing through the storyline but character exclusive EXE Drive Skills are only available through here.

There are also some stat boosting plans here like HP Up which of course increases your max HP and All Up which increases all of your stats and you can get these plans through the character challenges.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 Spreadsheet
A very useful spreadsheet which contains important things like Dungeon Harvest List, Dungeon Monster and Drop List and Remake System Plan Locations. You can view it by clicking here

[top]Roadmap

[top]Step 1: Complete the game on the Normal Ending Route

For this step, you'll just have to go through the game without viewing the 5 childhood events listed at Chapter 5 Cleared and Chapter 6 Cleared.

When you reach Chapter 5, make sure to make an alternate save file at the beginning. This alternate save file will be the one you'll be using for the Good/True Ending Route. For your first save file, this will be the one you'll be using for this step til you unlock the Normal Ending trophy.

Once you are done with the Normal Ending trophy, reload the alternate save file you have created and now make sure to view all 5 childhood events. Once you've done that, play through the game until you reach Chapter 9, here make an alternate save file again.

The current save file you are using will be used for the Good Ending Route while the alternate save file you have created will be used for the True Ending Route. Now after you're done creating an alternate save file, defeat the boss of Chapter 9 without viewing all 6 Rei's Past Events so that you'll be locked on the Good Ending Route.

After you have completed the game on the True Ending Route, you should have all 10 party members on your team. You can now unlock all Lily Rank related trophies and also Push it to the Limit where you need to have everyone's level at 99.

Once you are done cleaning up the remaining trophies which required a bit of grinding, it's time to complete the EXTRA Chapter located the Plutia's Dimension (Ultradimension). The boss of this chapter is no easy task to defeat. Even if you're all at Level 99 but if you have a weak equipment, expect to get wiped out.

I'll have to warn you though that they are quite powerful. Just having a full level 99 party is not enough. You need to get best equipment in the game if you want to stand a chance against them. Below is my party setup.

My Party's Equipment Setup

Toggle Spoiler

[top]
Violence, at Long Last
You have survived your first fight.

Easy trophy. You'll be able to unlock this on your first battle encounter.

[top]
Hardcore
You have fought 100 battles.

This trophy is unlocked on your 100th battle encounter.

[top]
Battle Master
You have fought 500 battles.

This trophy is unlocked on your 500th battle encounter. Well you should not have any trouble getting this since you'll be fighting a lot of times anyway specially when you are grinding for Push it to the Limit where everyone needs to be at level 99, the Rolling in Credits trophy where you need to have at least accumulated 100 million credits and finally there's also the Lily Rank related trophies. You should have 1000+ battles by the time you have completed everything.

[top]
Combo Master
You performed a 100-hit combo.

You should be able to unlock this trophy naturally. Just set your party with Rush Attacks that have high hit counts and find a large group of monsters to use this. One party combination that's easy to do this is with Neptune, Plutia, Blanc and Vert.
Combo Skills Setup:
  • Neptune - 3x Nep Slash (7 Hits x 3 = 21) + Dual Arts EX Finish (5 Hits)
  • Plutia - 3x Plutie Hit (8 Hits x 3 = 24) + Beat you up EX Finish (8 Hits)
  • Blanc - 3x Satellabute (8 Hits x 3 = 24) + Vershlag EX Finish (5 Hits)
  • Vert - 3x Air Slicer (8 Hits x 3 = 24) + Dooard's Strike EX Finish (8 Hits)

That's a total of 119 Hits and depending on the enemy count that you can target, you might even go above 200+ hits. This should be more than enough for the trophy.

[top]
You are Now OP
You inflicted over 100,000 damage against a foe!

Another trophy which you'll get naturally. You might even get this when doing Combo Master. Another high chance of getting this is when you're using each character's exclusive EXE Drive Skills like Neptune Break, Infinite Slash, Hard Break and the like.

[top]
Level Cap, Get!
You leveled one character to 99.

Refer to Push it to the Limit for more information.

[top]
Push it to the Limit
You leveled all characters to 99.

You need to be on the True Ending Route so that you'll unlock this trophy. It would really help if you have the EXP Up Plan which you can obtain from a hidden treasure at Gigo Main Entrance. If you bought the DLC Histy's Emergency Aid Pack, there's a plan Super EXP Up that you'll get there. For the level grinding, no need to worry about it too much because you'll be able to max out everyone's level when you are grinding 100 Million Credits for the trophy Rolling in Credits

EXP Up Plan is obtained from this Hidden Treasure Box.

[top]
Combo Maker
You set up an original combo.

Press to bring out the Menu screen and then go to the Commands option and select Combo Skills. Just change or rearrange the combo skills of any of the characters and the trophy should unlock.

[top]
Aspiring Game Dev
You made your own disc via Disc Dev.

Game discs are acquired either through the Chirper so make sure to check those out when you see them or by giving medals which you obtain from defeating Tough Foes to the ? person at Ultradimension Planeptune. He will be available to talk to whenever you obtain a medal. Next thing you need are Idea Chips which are acquired anywhere in the game like some certain quests at the Guild gives you this, there are also Idea Chips available at the Colosseum and the last place where you can get Idea Chips is by looting the items at the dungeons.

Once you have the required items, go to any Nation and select the Disc Development option. Pick any game disc which you have acquired and just select any Idea Chip which is capable of being put into that disc and then after that just create the disc and you will have your trophy.

[top]
Superstar Game Dev
You created a Godly Game via Disc Dev.

Godly game discs are discs that has an additional effect aside from the idea chips that you will put in it. 1 Godly Game Disc that you can create in this game is Final Fantasy and requires the following:
  • Yellow Chip - Lv.1 RPG
  • Blue Chip - Lv.2 Fantasy
  • Red Chip - Lv.1 Orthodox

After you have created that disc, the trophy should be awarded afterwards. For more Godly Game Discs, there is a list here

[top]
Game Remake
You activated a Plan.

The remake system from the previous Re;Birth games is back again. You can access it by pressing to bring out the Menu screen then after that, go to the Plans option. From there, create any of the plans available and once you have successfully made one then the trophy should be unlocked.

[top]
Game Designer
You have activated 200 Plans.

You'll need to create 200 different plans for this trophy to be unlocked. Press to bring out the Menu screen and go to the Plans option and then just create 200 things there. Everything you create at that section counts towards the trophy.

[top]
My First Stella's ☆ Dungeon
You have entered Neptral Tower.

First you need to create the Plan Stella's ☆ Dungeon Unlocked which will be given to you during Chapter 2. I recommend starting your progress with this right away once the plan is available to at least reduce the Dungeons you'll have to clear for Dungeon Master. Anyway for the trophy, just send Stella to any floor of the first area and that's it.

[top]
Dungeon Master
You have cleared Neptral Tower.

This is missable if you are unlucky enough to not get the items required for the plans through Stella's Dungeon. You'll need to make sure you are on the True Ending Route so that you have access to all dungeons in the game along with the ones that are unlocked at post game.

On the bright side now, Stella's travel time in the dungeon is not as long as it was once in Re;Birth2. Longest time you'll have to wait is almost 3 hours and that is even without Histy's DLC. This is much easier to complete compared to the Re;Birth2 version.

Quest Master!
You have cleared 100 Quests!

To unlock ths trophy, you'll need to complete 100 different quests and that's it. You can check your progress by going Nepedia and selecting Play Data to view how many quests you have completed although this will also count quests that you have repeated. You can manually count the ones you have done by going to the Quests option and selecting Quests Done.

[top]
Rolling in Credits
You finally collected 100 million Credits. Was this your last trophy?!

Just like the previous games, you don't need to have all 100M Credits at once in your hands. This is cumulative and you can check your progress by going to Nepedia and choosing Play Data and check Credits Held.

Onto the farming section. You'll be doing the Colosseum battle called Deity of Sin, Redux which is a Rank B match a lot of times. You see the reward Sonic Blade? This is Neptune's best weapon (without the DLC) in the game and also will be your source of money. When you sell 1 Sonic Blade, it costs 500,000 Credits so, yeah, like I said you'll be doing this battle a lot of times.

Before you attempt to do this, you need the following:
  • Neptune's Leader Skill HDD SP Down - costs 16 MB
  • Weaken Enemies Plan - costs 16 MB
  • EXP Up Plan - costs 256 MB
  • Break Damage Limit Plan - costs 512 MB
  • 4 Discs with a Drill Idea Chip

Break Damage Limit Plan is a must so that you don't have to rely on Nepgear partner ability. Drill Idea Chips will add the ability HDD Full Recovery which fully recovers both HP and SP when you activate HDD. This way you can just spam your EXE Drive Skills.

My Party's Drill Disc Setup

Toggle Spoiler

The weapons that my party are using are best ones you can find in the game and you can just get it through the Colosseum. The armor Celestia Bangle and accessory CPU Aegis are the best ones you can get to improve your other stats. You'll need to create the plans first though and each one costs 5,000,000 Credits.

For the fight itself, you'll just have to use EXE Drive Skills to beat DoS Arfoire Easily. Enter HDD Form use Neptune Break/Infinite Slash/Hard Break/T.Blade Kick to defeat DoS Arfoire and then repeat. Simple as that. When your party is strong enough, this fight is over on your 3rd member's EXE Drive Skill.

[top]
Loveable Neptune
You maxed out Neptune's Lily Rank.

You need to be on the True Ending Route so that you have the complete party with you and you'll be able to unlock this and the other 9 Lily Rank related trophies. To make things easier, you'll need the following first.
  • Destroy Symbol Plan - costs 8 MB
  • Symbol Attack Gains Plan - costs 1024 MB
  • 4 Discs with a Harem Idea Chip

Harem Idea Chips has the ability Lily Up+ Lv.5 which will make this grind faster. Once you have those, equip the Harem Discs to the characters that you'll be raising the lily ranks. The back row doesn't need this disc. Now go to long straightforward dungeons that has 2 floors with weak enemies like Jet Set Range and use Symbol Attack to quickly finish the battle. Actually you won't even have to go through the battle screen, the battle result screen will be shown immediately. Make sure to check the Lily Ranks every after you complete your dungeon run. You can change partners if the Lily Rank is already at Rank 8. It doesn't have to be at Rank 10.
