[top]Introduction

Experience a brilliantly designed physics-based puzzle/platform game where you must guide a puddle of fluid to its target destination, not by moving the fluid, but by tilting the game world.

The player must work with friction, momentum, and the unique properties of each type of fluid and environment to send as much of each puddle past fires, rifts, potential spills and more. But watch out: the fluid motion is realistic! Tilt too quickly and you will lose control.

[top]Tips & Strategies

The only controls that you will use for this game are and (if you choose to use that setup). You can also play using the tilt mode, but this guide is written using the and buttons. Your goal is to guide a puddle to its destination through different obstacles by tilting the game world. moves the world to the left and moves it to the right. The key to this game is patience combined with practice. You will want to keep a good pace, but also try to keep as much of your Puddle intact as possible. Also, pay attention to the tips before the beginning of each level. They will definitely prove to be helpful.

[top]Roadmap

1. Play through all 48 levels. Doing this will unlock the 8 story-related trophies.

2. Next, work on any level-specific trophies that you didn't unlock during your first playthrough.

These trophies are:

Green Peace
The Price to Pay
Eating is Cheating
Souvenir
Waiter

3. Last, work on getting Gold medals for each level. This will unlock Gold Rush and give you a 100%!

Gold rush
Earn 48 gold medals

You need to get a gold medal in all 48 levels to get this trophy. After you have completed a level you will be able to see what your time was for the level and see what is the required time to get to the next medal. You can look at this from the Main Menu when you hover over each completed level youíve done. The calculations for medals are calculated on time and how many bonus particles you have compared to the required amount of particles.

Here is an example of an equation that can be seen at the end of a completed level:

Time(01:23.000) - [Particles Left(050) - Particles Required(030)] * 0.25(this can depend on the amount of bonus Particles you have)

As you can see it not only pays to complete a level quickly, but it is also helpful to complete the level with as many particles left as possible. My advice to you for getting gold medals is to be patient. Play through the levels until you complete them and keep going. After you have played through all the levels focus on getting a gold medal for each one at a time. Start off by getting a feel for the level and knowing what you have to do. Next work on completing the level at a steady and quick pace while trying to keep as many particles as possible. Doing these together will ensure a gold medal. If you start getting aggravated at the level take a break and move on to another level. Sometimes it helps to revisit a level after taking a break.

Green peace
Push the bulb inside the droseras making sure not to drop any particles

This trophy must be done on the Bulb - Nursery level.

For this trophy you must push the second bulb inside the sundews without letting the particles fall inside. The easiest way to do this is to get rid of a lot of your puddle in the beginning so that you can avoid touching any of the red spiky plants. You then need to get your puddle to the left of the bulb and then slowly push it into the sundews without letting any of your particles (puddle) touch the red plants. You should unlock the trophy soon after you touch the third bulb. See the video below for a visual guide:

The price to pay
Finish a level after at least 10 nitroglycerine explosions

I did this on the Kieselguhrs Laboratory level. You can also get the trophy on the level before this, but I think this method is easier. See the video below for a visual guide:
