[top]Roadmap

Step 1: 1st playthrough and collectibles.
All difficulty trophies are stackable. If you play on hard mode, and upgrade your weapons and collect as many collectibles as you can, when you start nightmare, it will all transfer over. BUT, you can just do one playthrough on Nightmare and save yourself a playthrough. I would suggest starting on an easier mode so that you may upgrade all your weapons and find most collectibles. With upgraded weapons, it will make your nightmare playthrough much easier as the enemies are harder to beat but with upgraded weapons it's a bit easier.

Step 2: Collectibles playthrough.
There is chapter select. You can choose what chapter and what location in the chapter you want to go to. You should have found a good majority of them during the 1st playthrough. One the side of the menu when you press you can see how many memories, snouts and Radula rooms you are missing.

Step 3: Clean up trophies.
For all the little things you might have missed during your playthrough. Remember there is chapter select, so if you know the spot where you have missed a trophy, you can just chapter select.

The scroll of destiny is found in chapter 3. It's the third and last painting you will enter. There are four peaches in this painting. All four peaches are easily spotted so you can't really miss them.

Peach 1: Right by a cloud.

That's Using Your Head
Complete Off With Her Head Part 2 in under 6 minutes.

This isn't completely hard if you are just careful. You want to have as little mess up as possible. Make sure your aiming in the cannons is accurate and you try not to fall of the platforms. If you fall of you can always restart but mind you, you will start in the very beginning.

[top]
Dress-Ups
Equip a Different Domain Dress.

After you finish Chapter one, exit the game and go to the main menu. Press to get to the equip menu to put on a new dress.

[top]
Weapon Schizo
Hobby Horse to Vorpal Blade to Hobby Horse Combo.

This is quiet simple. Once you have both Vorpal Blade and Hobby Horse just defeat an enemy by pressing . Just do this combo successful to unlock the trophy.

[top]
Grind 'em All!
Kill 5 Bolterflies in a row with the Pepper Grinder.

You can get this easily in the first Chapter. After you have found the Pepper Grinder, go out the door where there will be several Bolterfly hives. Keep shooting the botlerflies to get fie in a row.

[top]
Neighslayer
Hit 4 enemies with a single Hobby Horse ground smash.

There are several locations where rumors say this will work.

1. Chapter 3 - Right after you get the weapon you will fight some Ice Sharks. Climb the pillars that come up and hope down. You will see some more enemies. Go to the far right corner by the edge and stand there. You will notice the enemies can not touch you there nor can they get to you. Wait for them all to get together and then do the combo. . It has to be the last hit of the combo to work.

2. Chapter 3 - The first puzzle picture. When looking for the pieces of the puzzle you will hop down into a hole, where there will be respawning slithering ruins. Try to run around and gather at least 4 of them together or drop a bomb to gather them. Before the bomb goes off, start the combo and hit all four ruins.

3. Chapter 1 - After you get the Pepper Grinder. (NG+) When you get the Pepper Grinder, go out the door where you meet the boltflies. Run around till you have 4 of them following you then turn around and do the combo.

4. Chapter 2 - In the Second Radula Room. Here you will have to survive the time trial against the Madcaps. Keep running around till you have 4 of them following you. Turn around and lock onto one and do the combo.

5. Chapter 4 - Where you meet the Card Guards. Through out the level you will encounter quiet a few of them. Again, run around till you have 4 of them together and then do the combo.

**Note**Rumors have it you can not use boltflies or slithering ruins. I did option 1 and it worked.

[top]
Tea Party
Destroy 10 Ruin Barriers.

Ruin Barriers are the breakable walls you find with the faces on them. They usually are not breakable until you defeat the Ruin enemies around. Destroy 10 of them on your journey through Wonderland to get the trophy.

[top]
Venting Frustration
Spend 7 minutes on steam vents.

Piece of cake. The vents are the items that are shooting up steam to lift you up. Just jump on one of them and put the controller down for seven minutes. Easy right?

[top]
Level-Headed
Finish the game using Hysteria only once.

When you learn the Hysteria, you have the option to use it right there BUT you do not have too. If you use it there you can't use it again or you won't get the trophy. You can manually trigger Hysteria when hitting when you are down to half a rose petal of health.

An easy way to do this is to do it on New Game + because you will have all your upgraded weapons. Use Hysteria when you first learn it and that's it. The rest of the game shouldn't be to hard as all your weapons are stronger then normal and you will be able to fend off enemies with ease.

[top]
Eyes on the Size
Find the hidden Shrink Sense Decal.

This is found at the very end of chapter 3. As you are walking up to the caterpillar temple DO NOT ENTER yet. Instead you will notice two structures to the left and right. Go behind the left structure and shrink to see the Dark Horse Logo.

[top]
Brollyant
Kill 10 Bitch Babies with Deflection.

These are found in Chapter 5. They are little flying doll heads with harms. Dodge them as they come at you and wait for them to shoot the green acid at you. Lock on and block with the umbrella to deflect the acid back at them. Do this 10 times.

[top]
Beware of the Lagomorph
Kill 30 enemies with the Clockwork Bomb.

When you get the Clockwork Bomb, just keep dropping it around enemies. They get distracted by it and will go to it instead of you. Wait for them to gather around it and let it blow. It's easier done on the slithering ruins as they only need one hit to be killed.

[top]
Cold Arms, Cold Heart
Defeat the Drowned Sailor without taking any damage.

This is easier then you think. You encounter the drowned Sailor in chapter 2. They can not be hit when they are practically invisible. If they are throwing bombs at you then shoot them with the pepper grinder. This will make them drop the bombs on themselves making them visible. When visible, run up and hit them until they turn invisible again, then repeat till he is defeated.

They also go into the ground and pop up right next to you. Make sure you watch carefully and dodge as they are popping up. Then again, use the pepper grinder to shoot him out of the sky.

[top]
Pulling His Strings
Defeat the Dollmaker without taking any damage.

First things first. If you receive damage, simply hit then restart. There are checkpoint in this battle.

Checkpoint one - After the Left hand.
The left hand is the hand to watch at first. Keep running and dodging the attacks. Don't bother to stop and kill the ruins that appear, they will die when the hand is destroyed. Keep dodging and running until the hand gets tired and reveals the face. Keep attacking the face. This may take 2-3 attempts.

The left hand has two main attacks to look out for.
1. The hand will go up and come slamming down. It does this a total of about 3 -4 time then stops to rest. This is the time to start attacking as the face is visible.

2. The hand will chase you, so use the pillars to your advantage. The hand is faster so keep running around the pillars till the hand gets tired and takes a rest. Attack when the face is visible.

After the hand is defeated, A checkpoint is now activated.

Checkpoint two - After the Right hand.
The Right hand has 3 attacks

1. The hand will fly up and punch down. Keep dodging and on the 3-4 punch the hand will get tired, so attack.

2. The hand will start walking around now and will stop, but DO NOT go by him has he is not tired yet and punches the ground.

3. When it waves it's finger at you it will then draw a line glowing purple and shoot it at you. Jump over it. Do this 3-4 times and he will get tired. Then attack.

Watch out when he summons the menacing ruin as this could harm your chances.

Once defeated a checkpoint activates.

Part three - the face

This is not really all to hard if you have upgraded weapons. When he opens his mouth, use the teapot or pepper grinder to shoot his tongue.

Avoid his hands as he sends one out at a time. When he calls his hands back he will do one of two things.

1. Open his mouth and stick out his tongue. Three floating ruins appear, so try to get rid of them then his tongue.

2. The tongue will just hang there. So keep shooting it but watch for what he spits out.

When he pulls his tongue back in, he sends his hands out again so just dodge and repeat.

*Note* Remember, after each section, if you get hit, a checkpoint is activated and you can restart.

[top]
No quarter! No mercy!
Defeat 100 Ruin Enemies.

This will come through out your playthrough. Ruins are the enemies that are black with the faces. They can be the little one, the big one with three faces, or the one like the octopus in the water. Just keep killing them as you run into them and before long you will have 100.

[top]
52-Pick-Up
Defeat 52 Card Guards.

You will find the Card Guards in Chapter 4. They are the enemies that look like playing cards and have holes in them. Just keeping hitting them until they get stunned and fall to the ground and then use the Hobby Horse to hit them. They will get back up after being stunned if you do not defeat them. If by some chance you do not get the trophy before you become giant Alice, you will be guaranteed to get the trophy while being giant. Defeat 52 Card Guards to get the trophy.

[top]
Calm In the Face of Death
While on your last Rose, kill 5 Enemies without activating Hysteria.

This can be a bit difficult. It's easier to find some boltflies and let them get your health down to one Rose and then just start shooting them with the pepper grinder. Kill 5 of them and the trophy is unlocked. This is a lot harder if you try to do it while fighting some of the bigger and stronger enemies.
