Army of Two: The 40th Day - Chapters of Deceit features two all-new  co-op campaign maps. In the new chapters, players stumble upon  information that could lead to ending the invasion by Jonah and his 40th  Day Initiative army. However, they quickly learn that everyone is out  for themselves and to trust no one but their partner.

This trophy is unlocked during the campaign mode in chapter 9. It is probably the longest one of the DLC to achieve but not hard. Early in chapter 9, you will see a small cutscene showing a man in hospital clothing trapped high up in a building occupied by FDI forces. Work your way up the building (via a few step-jumps and a section where Salem and Rios are separated). *NOTE - If you get downed during this part it's game over as your partner cannot get to you to patch you up*

Along the way you'll encounter a heavy with a shotgun. Kill him by aiming directly at the head. You'll also come across a heavy with a flamethrower. Killing him on the narrow walkways with other guys about can be tricky but if you stay back behind the hole you climbed up he will walk towards you and jump down the hole. He won't even be waiting for you later.

Once you've got to the hostage and talked to him you must work your way back down. Again you'll encounter a couple of shotgun guys (deal with them as above). After encountering the hostage for the second time, he will tell you that he cannot escape because of a guy with a Gatling gun. He will also explain about the traitor that I'll mention later. After this scene, go round the corner and simply shoot away the four supports, allowing some wooden planks to fall over the windows so he cannot shoot in. Shortly afterwards you'll get the trophy for saving the hostages.

This is likely to be the first trophy you'll get but it is available twice in the two new chapters.

To get it quickly, start chapter 8 playing as Salem. Once you've helped Rios to kill a few guys through the windows, head downstairs and turn left through a door. Kill the couple of normal guys there and the shotgun heavies. On your left you'll see a supply crate standing open. Search it by hitting :x: to get some new masks and the trophy.

If you didn't start as Salem, about half way through chapter 9, just after you climb up a very long ladder you will go through a green metal door. Grab the leader and either tie up or kill the other guys. Another supply crate will be right in front of you. Tap :x: for more masks.

*NOTE - Checking both crates will get more mask options as each one rewards you with a different set.

This trophy is unlocked during the campaign and cannot be missed. However, the end of chapter 8 can get slightly hectic, particularly if you're playing on contractor.

After killing Jonah, clear out the area below him, including a couple of shotgun heavies. You'll then have a heavy with a Gatling gun to kill (shoot his backpack) before going through the gap in the wall that he came from. After a couple of gates, go down a small alley and you'll have three APC's with gunners on top, two heavies with shotguns and a heavy with a Gatling gun.

I chose to quickly switch to my sniper rifle and headshot the guys manning the guns on top of the vehicles. After that, finish off the shotgun guys with headshots as usual and the Gatling gun boss by aiming at the backpack once again. NOTE - It can be a little awkward to hit because of the position he stands but you can usually use the sniper rifle and accurately hit his bag if normal aiming is giving you trouble.

Another trophy that will automatically unlock by simply playing through the campaign to the end. Chapter 9 is considerably longer than the previous one and will typically take you over an hour to do but it isn't particularly difficult. After the whole section whereby you will save a hospital worker (explained in the Men of the People section of this guide) you'll head towards a railway bridge, which just happens to be your target. Along the way you'll encounter plenty more of the usual bad guys and they shouldn't give you any real trouble. 

There is one section that can be awkward where you will find yourselves above a ladder that leads down into a warehouse. Once you go down you'll be presented straight away with TWO heavy shotgun wielding lunatics. Assuming you stay in cover and aim for the head they're not too bad to kill but don't expect much support from the AI player as he's likely to still be slowly climbing down the ladder! Immediately after this you'll have to work your way through the warehouse, cutting down a lot of people but so long as you stick to cover and pick up ammo supplies, it's easy enough.

In the final area, be sure to snipe the guys manning the mounted guns a they're the only things likely to cause you any concern. Once they're out of the picture work your way left, jump the  wall, kill the handful of other guys and plant C4 on the bridge pillar to bring it crashing down. Another silver trophy acquired and a cutscene to show the end of the game.

This trophy is unlocked as you progress through the campaign mode of Chapter 8, and fairly early on. After leaving the lift for the first time you'll get a cutscene where Dr. Wu asks you to keep a bunch of FDI people off his back while he finishes up some work he's doing. 

Once the cutscene ends, head along and through a door. Duck down and stay below the window looking across towards Dr. Wu. There will be around 20 people to kill in all, mostly coming down a staircase directly across from you. Once they're all dead, Wu will tell you he needs to do another task which is your cue to move on. Go through the doorway and be ready to kill another few people who come around the corner right in from of you.

After that, head towards the next window and again duck below it. Again there will be a few bad guys but this time supported by a heavy grenadier. He's actually remarkably easy to kill so long as you stay in cover. Simply pop up between his grenade shots and aim for the three bags suspended around his waist. Usually the ones on the left and right are simple to hit and the one behind him can be awkward. Once they're all dead Dr. Wu will thank you for your help and another trophy is yours.

As with every previous chapter in this game, around half way through Chapter 9 after a big street fight involving a gatling gun boss, you'll be invited to make a morality choice - specifically whether to save or execute a traitor. If you choose to let the traitor live by pressing :x: you will automatically unlock this trophy but will fore go the counterpart trophy, Good Fellas.

However, once you have got this trophy to get the other one simply quit the game and restart. When you do, choose Select Chapter then scroll right to a part of Chapter 9 called "Do or Die". This will put you right back into the street fight, just before the morality choice.

This is yet another campaign based trophy that cannot be missed.

After helping out Dr. Wu and an FDI turncoat, the location of Jonah will be revealed to you. As it happens, he is standing in a room up to the left that is very brightly lit with the word "Submit" emblazoned in red on the wall behind him. Simply whip out your sniper rifle, zoom in and waste him for this very easy trophy.
