Aftershock
Kill 125 enemies using Bear Might

Bear Might is the final animal ability, given to you in Memory #2 through another Sky World Journey. An earth-shaking area of effect attack, Bear Might does great damage to nearby enemies at the cost of a significant amount of health. It may not be the most versatile of your powers, but it is the strongest. Like the other animal powers, it is activated with the triangle button.

125 enemies may seem like a lot, but the game virtually hands you a grinding opportunity right off the bat. When "Washington" appears shortly after you unlock this power, he'll send a virtually endless wave of enemies at you. Repeatedly use Bear Might, and you'll be well on your way to unlocking this trophy.

Don't be too concerned about getting this trophy here, as there will be plenty of opportunities both in other missions and during free roam to find groups of enemies to attack.

If I Can Make It There
Reach 100% synchronization in New York

For this trophy, you will need to earn 100% synchronization in the DLC. To do this, you must Obtain 100% Synchronization in all Main Sequence Memories, Complete all Citizen Missions, and Locate all Lucid Memory Artifacts.

  • Memory #1 - Dark Waters
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Successfully brace 5 times when attacked: When the DLC starts, you'll be quickly thrust into a naval battle against a few of the King's ships. Your goal here is to use the brace command - activated with - to successfully avoid damage when one of your enemies is attacking, indicated by the red marker along the water. In practice, this means a lot of sailing around without attacking, and letting your enemies gun you down. The game is quite picky as to what constitutes a successful brace, so chances are you'll have to try for a while. Have patience, however, as your ship should have more than enough health to survive the needed hits.
      • Do not hit any rocks in the minefield: After investigating the downed ship, you'll have to navigate a treacherous minefield without hitting any rocks. This may seem impossible with the speed your ship sails at, but there's a simple trick: use that button. Slowing down to a full stop will let you pause the journey and aim your ship with pinpoint accuracy, making those tight squeezes much easier. Switch between half sail and full stop as needed, and you'll be there in no time.
      • Destroy 80% of Washington's armada in the upper bay: This doesn't seem to really be an optional objective at all. Simply keep whacking at the ships you fight after the minefield section.

  • Memory #2 - Sky World Journey
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Do not touch the ground: This objective will appear after you've rescued the bear from the first spear. The trick here is vigilance: during the sections between spears, where you use your eagle flight - - to travel across platforms, be on the constant lookout for the next platform. Don't wait around, as the platforms will disappear and you'll fail the objective.
      • Do not take damage from Washington's guards: Easy enough. Simply spam as the orange guards approach you, until it's safe to run to Washington.

  • Memory #3 - Parting the Blue Sea
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Kill 50 Bluecoats: While Jefferson and his men prepare to retreat, you'll have to fight for your life. In the ensuing battle, kill fifty enemies. This shouldn't be much of a challenge, as enemies seem to be infinite and Jefferson is quite capable in the fight. I advise waiting until getting the "destroy the gates" objective, as you can then focus on the ground enemies with less interference from snipers.

  • Memory #4 - Feeding the Masses
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Kill Fitzwilliams while remaining undetected: Like most of the stealth-based objectives in this DLC series, there are two ways to go about it: stealthily, or quickly. The latter is, as usual, far easier. What you want to do is equip your Eagle Flight, and prepare to quickly navigate a small area. Your target is marked with a red hexagon, so simply "steer" your flight path towards him. Run up and slap the the button before any guards can react, and the objective should register.
      • Do not let the cart's state dip below 50%: There are two extremely important parts to succeeding at this objective: stay ahead of the cart, and use your Eagle Flight well. The first is probably most important. Stay at the very front of the blue objective circle and try to take out enemies before the cart can approach. Doing so will keep the cart quite safe. Eagle Flight is your friend in both taking out the Bluecoats and staying ahead of the food cart.
      • Perform 3 Double-Eagle Assassinations: An Eagle Assassination is simply killing an enemy using Connor's Eagle Flight ability, by holding down the triangle button until an enemy is automatically selected, and releasing to strike. Double-Eagle Assassinations, then, are the act of killing two enemies with one of these strikes. To put it plainly, wait until two Bluecoats are standing near each other, then use the Eagle attack on them. Do this three times and this objective will be completed. This should come naturally, as more often than not your enemies will appear in pairs.

  • Memory #5 - One Step at a Time
    • Optional Objectives:
      • No Optional Objectives: Simply complete the mission.

  • Memory #6 - The Signal
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Save at least three firing squad victims: The first navigation marker of this mission will take you to some tied victims about to be executed by firing squad. Quickly interrupt the execution and kill all the soldiers. Assuming you got there in time, the objective will unlock after you talk to Jefferson's man.
      • Reach the tower using only chained Eagle Flight: This objective will appear immediately after the last one. It's pretty easy, just keep aiming towards your next landing point and mash that triangle button.
      • Kill five guards with one use of Bear Might: Tons of enemies will show up as you're attempting to topple the tower. Just let a few of them surround you, then break out the Bear Might for an easy objective.

  • Memory #7 - Halls of Injustice
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Do not kill any animals in Washington's zoo: This room has two animals, a bear and a cougar. You'll need to drop into the dens of both of them as you search for clues. Normal animal distraction techniques such as dropping food don't seem to work; however, if you keep a short distance from the animal, it should leave you alone.
      • Open the throne room in under 60 seconds: An underwhelming puzzle challenge. Left, , Right, , Left. It's that easy.

  • Memory #8 - Inevitable Confrontation
    • Optional Objectives:
      • No Optional Objectives: Simply focus on taking down Washington.

Citizen Missions are random encounters that give Connor the opportunity to help the good people of New York. You have to complete a set number of each mission, but this is easier than you might think - all missions respawn at set locations, and you can come back to them as many times as needed to complete each encounter's quota.
  1. Rescue Civilian (3 Required) - Bluecoat guards are harassing a citizen, and you're tasked with saving him. I would not recommend using Bear Might during these fights, as it may kill the civilian. Other than that, simply beat down the guards to complete the objective. This encounter seems to spawn in the middle western part of the map, near an edge of Washington's pyramid.
  2. Help the Hungry: (6 Required) - Connor comes stocked with 10 usages of raw meat, and the people of New York have a great need for it. When you see the notification on your map, simply locate the starving civilian and press the circle button to donate some meat to a good cause. You'll need to do this six times. A spawn spot for this encounter seems to be in the southern portion of the map, to the east of the Lucid Memory Artifact.
  3. Defend Civilians (3 Required) - Bluecoat guards are actively attacking some civilians, and you have to turn the tables on them and save the citizens. Similar to rescue civilian, and equally easy. There's a spawn point for this near the northern end of Washington's pyramid.
  4. Attack Convoy (3 Required) - Exactly as in the other episodes, Washington's men are transporting prisoners across the map in heavily guarded convoys. When you locate one, charge in and defeat the Bluecoat guards, then open both wagon doors. You'll have to find three convoys; they seem to spawn the most on the dirt roads in the northeast section of the map.

Lucid Memory Artifacts are collectibles that recall moments from the main game, helping Connor break free from the nightmare the DLC takes place in. All three can be found easily using the video below.
